The way i interpreted is that this album isn’t necessarily trying to be about her but rather about other artists like lana, fka twigs, sza etc. that have been inspiring her throughout her whole career and to kinda honor them by referencing their artistic styles

I think what I hate so much are all the samples. they should be used sparingly and with intention. I feel like she said "I like that song, I'm gonna throw it in the middle of my ballad cos I can and it'd be iconic". It's only iconic if there's an underlying connection (like vibe or having interacted with the creator at some other point in time) that isn't apparent at first. Camila said this album is her internally and if that's so, that's kinda crazy cos this was wacky and not really in a good way tbh

This album is Camila's "More Life" album. More a playlist rather than album especially with the overstuffed guest list and like Drake on "More Life", Camila is the worst part of her own album.

That was such a fun watch. I agree so much they both went off. The influence from daft punk, justice, gorillaz, the weekend, timbaland, deadmau5, portishead. So over the place but incredibly cohesive. Favorite album of them and of the year by now. They are at their best in every aspect
