Thank you for sharing. I grew up on the Eastern Shore of Va. little town called Parksley in Accomac County. My friends & I went 2 years ago & visited- my lifelong dream. I'm talking my sister into going soon. Can't wait to see again. Crabs, fish, etc. so much good food. Brings back so many memories of living on the Shore.THank you for sharing.

Yep...my sailing "playground " for the last 40 years or so...esp. Mobjack Bay...Cape Charles and up to Deltaville...it always amazes me how small waves look on video...us sailors know though! Ha ha...nice post guys! See ya out there!!

Good to see you vertical Aron. Plans are just that, plans. Plans change. I turn 68 this December and plan to fully retire in the spring. My plans are to cook BBQ in upstate NY during the summers and split the winters between the Blue Ridge Mountains, where we own our home, and Thailand. I am a tropics kid at heart and want to be where I can snorkel and fish but most of all afford a decent standard of life. You will get better. And you'll do that by doing what the Doctors tell you and staying healthy otherwise. We all look forward to your journey. BTW, I always get home (sea) sick when I see the big Coast Guard cutters. I am a retired USCG LCDR and while I did my time at sea I was a helicopter and C-130 pilot so I understand the call of the sea.

Sorry to hear you made the decision to sell the boat. However I am glad to see Aaron’s rehab is coming along. I am hoping this is a temporary setback and you will be able to get back on the plan you originally were going to undertake. We’ve all been there at one time or another, we made plans and God laughs. Good luck you two!

Great island! Mr. Parks has passed away. He is missed.

I feel absolutely devastated for the two of you! I now see Listen is up for sale. What is happening to you. I so hope Aron is ok. I think about you daily.

Glad you're out and about Aron. As you move more you'll feel better but DON'T OVERDUE IT! It's easy when you're having a great day to do too much. Major surgery takes a year or more to settle so do your therapy and get all the way well!
