American Psycho II: All American Girl - Movie Review
I’m so glad I got recommended this, I really enjoyed it :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Do you realize how many times we watched these bud? Lol... Theres a snake in my boot....
I can’t even begin to imagine how many times I’ve watched these movies
Excellent work, Andrew! You must have put a ton of hours into the video edits, but it all flowed really well. Best yet, for sure. I have to agree, Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending and Toy Story 4 was completely unnecessary. Subtraction by addition. I'm sorry to hear there will be a Toy Story 5, I had no idea. I won't make that mistake again. Also, great shout out to the man, the myth, the legend that is... Scott! Sterling!
It took a many days to edit this video. Between finishing up my final semester at MCC and work this took a lot longer than expected
I hope you don't this negatively, but you kind of look like the clockwork orange main character.
I am so glad I own these "obscure" DVDs containing the theatrical versions of Star Wars IV-VI. I recently rewatched New Hope with friends and they were shocked how different the death star trench run scenes felt due to changes in music and laser fire sounds.
Have you read the novel?
100% ownership ,don’t let anyone tell you different,
I was thinking back in 1980 which was when The Shining hit the theaters, & the fiilm involves about Isolation. NO ONE Couldn't Predict the Exact Fate that WE'VE ALSO Suffered The Same Isolation, when the World went into The Lockdown, due to Covid19 within 40 years later in 2020! That was a Very Brilliant Way for you to Put that! It wasn't Healthy for Jack & his family, let alone Delbert Grady & His own family. But it Wasn't Healthy for Us either however, fortunately no one went Mad & turned into a Homicidal Axe Maniac behind closed doors. (I don't think, Lol!) This was a Very Good video! Thanks!! 👍🏾😉 (Rip Shelly Duvall.🥀🌷😥)🏨🔪🥃🧊☝🏾😈👿🚪🪓🩸🩸🌬️❄️🌨️👭
An excellent analysis!!

beautiful intro
Buy Synology 1821+ with 8 x 16 TB WD Red Pro HDD. After this you will have about 100 TB. Not cheap, but you can have thousands of movies in a little physical place. You can repay a bank loan in 8-10 years.
Thanks for the video. As to the "plot hole" you mentioned: while you're right that it doesn't matter, as the film is in part a fairy tale and that isn't at all the point of the film (just like it doesn't matter that we don't see the police/clean-up crews show up at the end of III to inspect the destroyed DeLorean, as that would only clutter the ending with something that doesn't matter), there is no plot hole there. It's been thirty years since they've seen a kid they knew for a week, and human memories are extremely volatile, even with life-changing events. I guarantee you that, within five years, Lorraine remembers Calvin as being taller and buffer than he really was, as she thought of him as strong and an absolute dream. Her mental image of him would slowly alter to suit those brief emotions she had. After thirty years, George and Lorraine would have completely different mental images of what he looked like--one would remember him as a blonde, the other as brunette, one with blue eyes, the other with brown, one as tall, the other as short...ah yes, I remember it well... So, not plot hole, just human brains functioning as human brains do. I've been watching this film for thirty years and also keep getting new things out of it as the decades go by. It's excellent, and truly special. I don't think I could ever tire of it. They are some of my most-watched movies.
Gallo and I both have Lego DeLoreans. Just sayin. She saw the Broadway play and I have not, so she's definitely got me on that one. This is one of those stories that they nailed the first time and never should have tempted lightning to strike twice in the same place (pun intended). Love the Halloween photos, I vividly remember the second one! :)
I’m kinda iffy on the idea of adapting Back to the Future into to a broadway show. I mean the source material is so perfect that attempting to capture that again but as a musical just rubs me the wrong way. As a massive fan of the film I’m curious to see if they can even attempt to recapture the magic of the movie but I remain skeptical.
Great movie, has been since day one. Watched it multiple times and the first 5 ya really learn diffrent things...
AS a Gen X person, who grew up with VHS and later DVDs, and the joy involved in using physical media, something we took for granted at the time, I'm so happy to see a younger person embrace the joy and love of owning physical media.
Very well put together! You've definitely taken big leaps forward in your editing and such. I look forward to future projects.
Okay, I greatly appreciate the subject matter, but I feel this is your best video yet. The background music was a nice touch (appropriate for the mood and also not distracting). The use of clips was the best I've seen as well. You stepped up your game for this one, which is highly appropriate considering the content. :) And you added a lot of content and context of your own, which was a great touch. Awesome work, Andrew.
All of the good that the first two movies was undone by ewoks and then years later, by Jar Jar and the sequel squad. Star Wars is such a farce....you know what Lucas's nickname was out in California? Lucky. I enjoyed Star Wars as a child. Now I puke at the sight of it.
You're making lots of growth Andrew. Keep up the good work.
I see your swartz is as big as mine....
I hate it when I get my swartz twisted
I'm glad you were able to make a personal connection with this film. I do love Cameron's character arc and agree that he is the heart of the film. Also, both my boys have seen this, it stands up really well. I like the use of clips with audio!
Well thought-out and analyzed, cogent, and clear. That painting Cameron was looking at was probably the most famous pointilist painting, "A Saturday Afternoon on Isle of La Gran Jatte" (or something like that) by Seurat.
I love the scene in the museum. So thought provoking!!
Great take, on an awsome movie....
SAVE FERRIS
You should check out the GoFundMe that is going to pay for his lung transplant
Nice to see you back in action! This is definitely one of the most significant movies of my youth. It was so visually stunning. The world building reminds me of the new Dune movies, where I am completely drawn into another universe. And the characters seem genuine to the setting, which is just next level impressive.
Great movie, been watching it since I was 9 years old. When the movie was a fanciful look at a way off future. Way ahead of its time. Today many things I saw in the movie in terms of tech have come true in one way or another. But my real question is, What would you do if someone gave you a catskin wallet?
I would report the person to the police, since it wasn’t the Pulp Fiction wallet
Well done!
Thank you!!
Until your disk rots and doesn't work anymore.
Disk rot usually is a manufacturing error and is easy to spot very early on. It can still appear much later in a discs life span, but the problem is a bit overblown.
A bit overblown? It’s hugely overstated. 99% of the people who bring it up have never owned a dvd or a cd and never want to and are just trying to fearmonger Discrot only affects an absolutely tiny percentage of discs. Vastly, vastly, vastly under 1%. Probably not even 0.00000000001% of discs are rotted
@MetalSamantha so you say. Maybe people with rotted disks will disagree with you. Supposedly there was a plant in Pennsylvania making disks for paramount and most of those disks are now defective.
@@michaelcarr2466Discrot isn’t an issue dude. Stop lying
Some great recent movies with sound effects I've discovered that most people do not mention: - Superman in 4k 5 disc collection - Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2 - Legend of Hercules - Legend of Tarzan - Life - Kong skull island - Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 - Ghost Rider / Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance - xXx: Return Of Xander Cage - Gladiator/Braveheart 2-Movie Collection (4K Ultra HD + Digital) - Bumblebee,Transformers - The Revenant Top Blu-Ray: - Grand Prix (starring James Garner) - House of Flying Daggers - Need for Speed - Wyatt Earp (1994) - John Carter ==== Best music streaming = Apple Music lossless
I love my physical media collection! What's some of your hidden gems or guilty pleasures? 🐧🍎🍏💙
You can scrounge around garbage cans for free food too!! 😂
So funny. So witty. So unable to read the room
Streaming is like going to the public library, you don't own it!
Also, If you are like me, alot of foreign films and Indy films aren't on stream. I like Japanese and martial arts films.. Good video 😊
Agree with this video 👍 Plus hunting down and looking for movies is FUN. The prices have come down alot. eBay is great, and local thrift stores.
SUBSCRIBED 100% verdad ....
Andrew I watched it years ago and thought it was a good drama action movie 😎😎❤️❤️🤘
Andrew I own this movie and I love the visuals of it 😎❤️the plot is so cosmic that I consider it in parts 😎❤️
One of the most important aspects of movies and art in general is reach out to our emotions, make us reflect and think, and make us better persons, not all movies demonstrate this, but it's beatiful the attention Spiderman 2 gives to themes with which teens and young adults can relate. Having understanding and paying tribute to emotional themes and social commentary give meaning to movies in the long run. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Physical will always be best ! Only way to spend your hard earned money and have your products when you want them !
Disney can watch your video
Generally speaking I only buy physical copies of movies/shows I know I love/care about. Otherwise, I watch on streaming services.
One example, Lord of the Ring DVD Edition, Compare it with Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Paramount etc. Die Picture Quality from the DVD is always superior to the Streaming company always, I have high speed Internet, so Speed was never the problem.Star Wars, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Hitchcock Movies doesn't matter Picture Quality is always better. So Streaming Companies never provided us with the promised Quality How would 4k work when even HD is not working. And we are paying for the poor quality.
Yeah I live in the country and our internet service is slow. Streaming is annoying a lot of buffering for sure
If your player is connected to the internet they certainly can prevent playback of any thing they want.
Hence why mine isn’t
Random but do you have any PTA films in your collection?
I know I have Boogie Nights in my collection
@@anthillshapedbox7978 I’m slowly adding more of my favorite directors movies to my collection do you have any full filmography’s in your collection?
I get the best of both worlds. I have all my physical media ripped to a media server that I can stream anywhere I go.
The only real advantage of streaming over physical media is that it doesn’t take up space.
And doesn’t produce waste
@@jairrobalino Except the energy required to run the servers and constantly send the information to you which needs to continue forever and ever and ever.
Awesome collection mate👍🤩
I truly love your video! I’m 23 and I’ve been collecting physical media for as long as I can remember. I have roughly over 726 4K and Blu-rays. Physical media will always be better than streaming.
