YES!!!!! 🙌🏻 We had worn our clothes out to the max travelling the last 3 years and even though we bought quite a few items on this day, we still feel like our impact has been reduced so much by this action. There was honestly so many great options and we’ve found it’s a great way to connect with locals as we travel, meeting all sorts of characters volunteering their time in the shops. We also found heaps of new clothes in many of the shops that have been saved from landfill which was super encouraging. We still can’t believe how many fast fashion stores ultimately ’dump’ unwanted garments!

Internal shower is a great addition, however there are some big points to consider. It depends on a number of factors, where you’re travelling (is there showers available, we find showers very accessible in Aus), how much extra water weight you’re happy to haul, how long you wish to stay off grid, your grey water capacity, space in the van, overall layout (ie we like a spacious, open plan style, without windows blocked), the list goes on. We have not regretted removing the shower we originally framed in. We do have everything in place if we ever want to add it again (grey water inlet, exhaust fan power, space) but with our EverShower which can easily be set up inside, we just don’t think we will. As for the length, it’s just under 6.5m or 21ft ☺️

Oh wow! You should’ve yelled out 😂 massive driving day today, we’ve just finished driving another 500km averaging 80kmph 🤣 poor truckies we held up…

@ashleywilks7719 ahhhhhh, spoiler we were driving 500-700km per day to get back East for an important event, I remember shutting the blinds so Taka would remain chilled out but I had to cook all our fresh food before we reached Ceduna so we cooked up and had breaky there after our morning drive from Nullabor Roadhouse!! There was a upper cute Kelpie running around that kept teasing Taka 😜🐕 Hopefully next time we can say gday 💛

Hi mate, sorry it’s taken so long to reply, have you painted already? I was going to check our records cos to be honest I couldn’t remember but I checked and we started with 8ltrs (6 green 2 black) and purchased 1 more of each. We did the nooks and crannies/cut in, using cans first. Hope this helps
