Great interview. Jeff is incredible
Very nice production!
Im gonna try to play to records and not play impulsively and listen to what they did that make made that impulse happen.
What piece is this? So laid back, so cool!
I think college jazz education exists for basically two reasons: first, to give steady paying jobs to professional jazz musicians and secondly for aspiring musicians to network. Other than that there’s no real need for it to exist because let’s face it there’s no economic demand for jazz musicians. Personally, having not gone to college for jazz I definitely feel it’s an uphill climb not having an established network.
Wonderful insights! What a great drummer&spirit :)

I made a little Python program to create microrhythmic MIDI rhythms. It's very basic and works with text input only, but maybe it can help you with what you want to do. canthisevenbecalledmusic.com/Marathon/
