@@DanielSeanSmith actually just had a deep conversation with my best friend about how I keep my old Ronin Warrior fanfics safeguarded because they got me bullied in school, but I went "back to basics" and started watching the show again to remind myself why I started writing in the first place. It got me all emotional because it made me look at who I am now at 35 versus that 11-year-old lonely girl. Who would've thought a Japanese Anime was going to be the first stepping stone to my career?
1982 was good but 2011 is okay

I've seen 3 of these and absolutely love those 3. Was never intrigued by Critters, but this has grabbed my attention for sure. I am really interested in seeing the Gate though; I hadn't even heard of that movie!

You chose Critters over Gremlins? Gremlins are a LOT more iconic than Critters.
Yeah, but Critters is just as much fun on a lower budget.

@DanielSeanSmith I think I prefer Gremlins 2. It's filled with about a million what-the-fucks, and is a clever satire of consumer and wealth culture.
@@Stratmanable Moreso than how the first Gremlins warned us about our foreign relations with China, who makes nearly everything we can afford and use for all practical domestic purposes? That's important, too.
I watch all of these on a weekly basis. American werewolf in London is,in my opinion, one of the top 5 greatest horror movies of all time.

Hellraiser blew me away. Never saw anything like it.saw 1,2,3 in the theatre. 1 screen theaters. No cell phones. All the rest onvhs. Not so good.

Man, The Gate was absolutely horrifying. Its STILL horrifying! Critters was one of my favorite movies when i was 5-6 years old. I was always horrified where the two face aliens change into the rock stars they see on TV in the space ship. Good times, good times!
Right?! The 80s had some bangers! And yeah watching Critters when I was kid left a mark on me lol. My little brain had no idea how to comprehend all that 😅

I watched it Wednesday. It was a lot better than some of these other zombie movies.
Seriously! It had some depth to it! And love the character growth in the protagonist. So if you like this and you haven’t seen Overlord I highly recommend that one too.

NO. NO. NO. Watched this back then when it first came out with my then boyfriend. We'd never seen gore like this before, since it was 1982. I was sick for a coupla days afterwards! (Now I'm able to say, "Yeah, man... those FX folks are GUD!")
