Some can be taken off through command prompt whilst others through flashing the firmware.

What is the Controller part number or chip genius information??

You can't fix this pen drive. SanDisk does not give the firmware flash tool.

Brother I can't though but maybe I don't have anything to update in the software for now. I only blame the flash drive manufacturers, some of them are just greedy that they do not want to give out the firmware to flash or when it has problems. I'm sure it's a business strategy for you to buy another one. Its very pathetic bro.
