🐮 When Midland Power members Brett and Alicia Buchholz bought an acreage outside of Ames, they didn't envision a herd of cattle in their future. Fast forward two years, and the self-taught ranchers are now running Prairie Oak Homestead, producing grass-fed and grass-finished beef.
Midland EV Car Show helps members plug into accurate information

🔌 On Saturday, May 11, 2024, Midland Power hosted our first-ever EV Car Show to help our members plug into accurate information on electric vehicles. Attendees were able to kick the tires on more than 20 fully electric and plug-in hybrid electric cars and trucks, take test drives, and learn from the folks who own, drive, and sell them.

🚨 🚒 Helping our heroes. When the City of Gilmore City came across a great deal on a new firetruck, they needed to act quickly to secure funding. They turned to Midland Power Cooperative’s and Corn Belt Power Cooperative's revolving loan funds. Each co-op provided a $100k loan, allowing the city to take possession of the truck in mere months instead of years.

Midland is a joke in my area you charge a membership fee and keep raising it but we get nothing from the membership no rebates for new ac/furnace and other energy saving wish i could get midamerican yall are trash
