ABOUT ME:
David Cabador (he/him) is an emerging pop singer/songwriter based in Vancouver, BC. His musical influences draw from pop, jazz, rock, folk, alternative, and country. Well-known for his energetic social media presence, he seeks to bring comfort through his deep lyricism and storytelling, conveying topics such as bittersweet heartbreak and growing pains.
Gaining a following from performing throughout the years, David made his debut in 2022, when he released his bittersweet single, “happy for you”. Co-written with Erik Severinson, it became a hit song among his growing and devoted fanbase, reaching over one thousand streams on Spotify in less than two days. He later followed up with singles "mountains" and "pool party". Additionally, David has released two remixes featuring mmn and Kah'Nya.
He performs regularly in student recitals and has performed alongside Trinity Donecz, Ada Ferguson, Nicholas Huang, Alec Manson, Sasha Martyniuk, and Jeanine LeDuc. He is also a dedicated vocalist of the Vancouver Community College Concert Choir.
David is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Music program at Vancouver Community College. He continues studying voice under Paula Kremer and songwriting under Erik Severinson. As he works towards releasing an EP, he aspires to be more involved and perform regularly in 2024.
