Oh they worked just perfect. I made up three and baited them with worms to start. Had my kids catching perch on they’re little rods and then I started using that for bait. Caught several small cats in the Canadian river at the mouth of Lake Meredith. Out in the red mud :) Great times! Thanks for the video!!

I cant remember now, its been several years. I almost wanna say that it was there at the airport. If you tell those guys you wanna go cheap, then threaten to look around, they haggle! but it was definitely the tiniest little car they had. I remember it had chevy emblem on 1 side and hyundai emblem on the dash. came in handy though, a jerk parked sideways in front of us to block us in, in a carport behind a building in town, and the car was so tiny that I was able to do a 58 point turn around and drive out around him! guess I was in his spot. last time we sprung for the jeep. it was about 80 a day with insur....

@@MRJUSTINSTUBE Thanks Justin for your response ...This will be our 4th trip to Cozumel this year and every time we rented a Jeep at about a $100 a day...looking for something cheaper if possible

+kerrie country girl as far as safety, you probably wont find a safer place in all of Mexico to vacation. this island makes this country alot of money. and its a national park. a girl in one of the stores told us a story about some guys who came over from the mainland and robbed a jewelry store. its an island. immediately locked down until the badguys were caught, and word apparantly got out to the rest of the badguy community, cuz its not happened since. as far as the food, the breakfast is pretty great. omelette bar, lots of fruits and juices and choices of other stuff... lunch is pretty good at the snack shack, burgers and dogs and nachos and guacamole.... dinner is pretty tasty, but we waited forever and the portions are small. by the 3rd day, we were going to town to eat dinner just for some adventure anyway. (rent a car for about 120 for the week) or a cab is 15-20 each way to town n back.. now for the service,.....every single one of those hard working people are there to make sure you have nice stay. and i know the sign says gratuity is included. ...BUT... DONT BE A LOW BUDGET, 2 FOR A NICKEL, TIGHTWAD JERK THAT DOESNT TIP!!! Do you want a nice stay? or do you want to be waited on hand and foot by smily, appreciative, people that sincerely want to make sure you want for nothing? when my beer is half empty, they bring me 2 more! THE DIFFERENCE IS LITERALLY A DOLLAR! a dollar every 3rd or 4th beer, a few bucks to the room girl that stocks your mini fridge, a couple bucks to host at breakfast, your dive master, your boat captain..... you get the idea. I am not a rich man. I work for tips. i do not have a huge vacation budget, but i tip out over the week, about $60-75. and I promise I have a better time than alot of people there. I know i get long winded, but I love that place and the people there. LET ME KNOW HOW YOUR TRIP GOES!
