The Spanish Princeses is perhaps the most accurate,I love how the directors really payed attention on historical accurrency (The Tudors and The Other Boleyn Girl movie are good but kinda inaccurate with somethings) Charlotte Hope did the role perfectly,i could really see how strong Catherine of Aragon was and she actually looked like catherine,(Catherine,having Lancastrian blood,she inheritted and was born with Red-goldish hair and white skin and blue eyes,It is remarked by Dr. la Puebla that King Henry Vll said "The Ambassadores were not wrong,They said that you did not look like a true Spaniard,Good god,The daughter of Gaunt!") I am so glad that they focused on the histroical accuracy. Great job on the video.
Thank you!! And agreed- it was interesting to see a portrayal of Katherine that followed historical records in terms of physical attributes. Through I know the writers took creative liberties, I really loved Charlotte’s portrayal of Katherine for the reasons you said above. Both she and Ruairi played Katherine & Henry to be so complex and versatile. The show is definitely in my top 5 historical series’ of all time.
