Im still not great at the fast parts on the guitar. Feels like Ive hit a wall there which is why Im so quick to post the Bass but guitar takes longer. Song is pretty easy and fun on Lead except for that little tricky part at 3:06 i just cant nail that :P

@@RealPancake21 yeah i really dig them both and psyched for the new album. Theyll actually be here next month with Volbeat but this is probably the first time I wont be seeing them in awhile. For one, I hate winter concerts, for two I hate large arenas, and for three id rather see them without another headliner.

Sorry to make your experience bad :-( I only use inverted strings because thats how TABs are displayed. You dont need to know rocksmith at all, if you know tabs you can follow along, and if you do know rocksmith then its just a slight adjustment. And if you know rocksmith but dont know tabs, this makes it much easier to read tabs. Believe me, once you acclimate, you hardly notice the difference. I can play both inverted and not-inverted and my brain processes it the same way.

@@goomofo9530 it is no worries dude, You gave me a better understanding, I guess it makes sense since tab work the same, I am used to tab and Rocksmith but because I play rocksmith at default that is how I am used to reading it :) , Maybe you could upload a default version of ghost songs too

@@levz118 Thanks for understanding. I've actually considered doing 'normal' (not inverted) versions but I wasnt sure if anyone would be interested. You've given me something to consider, as my goal here is to provide music that people can play along to and learn - I enjoy playing along rocksmith videos using my amp (its so much easier than booting up the game), so I figured others would as well. I now need to consider if I should rename all my videos to say (Inverted Strings) or should i just name these new videos as (Not-Inverted Strings) or something along those lines. Thanks for your feedback!

Interesting to note: the bass tab is in eb standard. I guess that is true to the studio version, but obviously they play it in D standard live. That being said, I've recently recorded my playthrough of it and will be uploading it shortly. And it's a lot of fun!

@@goomofo9530 yeah Kiss the Goat is played in D. But the few tabs for Mary I've seen are in Eb which I found interesting 😂😂.

Nice playing! I'm the author of this guitar chart, it was made in collab with Lil_ramen_noodle on the CustomsForge. What Goomofo said above is true, bass is in Eb standard, and when live, they keep their D standard bass and D standard guitars. You can notice that the entire chart doesn't go lower than fret 2 : They can play it one fret lower live to preserve both instruments tuning ! That's also why the live performance of Mary On A Cross is one semi-tone flat ! Charting songs based on live hand reading can lead to interesting observations :D

I wasnt any good when I started either. Just keep at it :-) Sometimes it's frustrating, so I recommend to push yourself a little bit but also just do what's fun for you and the rest will come with time.

I like playing Rocksmith with the strings inverted because its more like reading tabs then. If I train my brain to read the strings this way I feel it helps me read tabs a little better.

@@mattcarb This is user-created, not an official DLC. You won't find this in the PS or X-Box Store. There's a site to download user-created songs like this, but I believe you can only play it on the PC version of RS.
