A quick tutorial on how to use NXIO with an Allen Bradley PLC. EDS file can be found here: industrial.omron.ca/en/products/nx-series#downloads The EIC-202 can be set with either a 192.168.1.XXX or a 192.168.250.XXX IP address through the physical switches. Anything beyond these two subnets will require the DHCP to be enabled on the EIC-202.

Omron Sysmac PLC and Allen Bradley PLC Ethernet/IP Communication. Setup should be the same for NJ and NX as well as Control and Compact Logix. The 4 extra bytes of data may or may not be needed. Never hurts to make room for them.
Is it possible to exange string datas between nx102-9000 and compactLogix ? And how can I do it please ?
Yes but Rockwell does strings differently than Omron
hi, thank you for the video, so in my case, i added the a generic module but I'm getting an error of invalid segment type, which I consider that to be the connection parameters for the I/O and configuration. The data size for my I/O is I 4/504 [bytes] O 0/504 [bytes], any suggestions ?

Very helpful, thank you. One nit to pick: You should always use the CPS instruction instead of the COP instruction when working with I/O buffers, to prevent invalid data if an I/O packet is sent or arrives while the COP instruction is running. The CPS instruction locks the source and destination memory areas to prevent interference from message traffic, I/O packets, or higher-priority tasks. CPS is otherwise identical to the COP instruction.
Is it possible for omron CJ models?
nope
Absolutely. The datalink is made by network configurator though, not Sysmac. CJ1W-EIP21 cards or the built-in EIP work fine and require the 4 byte offset.
