Yeah sadly it seems a LOT of servers suprisingly allow mixpacks and stuff on legacy, which I figured would be more rare. Suprised PoT has more servers that don’t allow it than Isle Legacy especially considering how punishing Isle can be for solos.

@@Cascadeeee I try to turn it down, either I have to turn the in-game music off which is boring, or I add my edited music and it overlaps sadly. If you wanna give constructive criticism that’s fine, but it’s a little hard to find an in-between.

Yeah I agree, I think gameplay-wise evrima is much better especially when you compare this version’s carno to the quality the evrima carno has along with the other creatures. Though legacy seems to outclass it in feeling like a horror game at the moment in my opinion. You actually feel legitimate safety in sunlight in legacy 🤣

Yeah sorry about the music, I keep trying to find a sweet spot with it but no one seems to be truly satisfied sadly 🤣 main problem imo is just that it either overlaps with the game music or the fights without music seem too boring in my opinion. Imo I can see why people don’t like baby killing in PoT specifically since death isn’t very punishing and babies give very little food. You’re better off just eating critters than killing a baby that’s an actual player losing progress. Though in a game like The Isle, baby killing is a little more viable for population control and also food for some creatures though it can still be punishing on the player. But yes I agree some people do take some things way too far in games though.

Pycno is very hit-or-miss at the moment sadly. I don’t think it’s exactly bad by any means, but it takes a lot of skill to play well at the moment. With training though any player can master it. I’m very glad to hear you noticed the way the music played out! Making the music fit the fights is one of the main things I focus on and love to do when editing these. I’m also glad to see more people appreciating the Sonic OST’s I use, I feel like Sonic Frontiers’ boss music is really underrated.

I personally don’t know and I prefer not to pick the “best” build. There also isn’t really a set-and-stone best build for anything because every ability can help depending on the situation. I personally use the 3rd build that I showed in the video for the most part at the moment.

I originally only heard him biting, and adolescents completely lose their juvenile sounds. So I originally thought it was big because of the sound, and even when I saw the skin I wasn’t sure how big it exactly was until I was already on it. At that point, I’ll be honest I don’t know why I didn’t stop lol. I guess I figured “well I don’t wanna make it awkward by stopping and being friendly after just biting half his health away” so… yeah lol. But it’s not like you lose a whole lot of growth or marks anyways. I hate killing babies for sport but they didn’t need to plan on attacking me with like 3 apexes and tracking me with a megalania though. That’s insane. I myself wasn’t even past adolescent so if they killed me they’d be killing a baby too 🤣

@Dando_Pando I’m not sure honestly. If you like fast things, I think alioramus is a good pick. If you’re wanting a strong creature though, I’d probably say suchomimus. It looks cool, is pretty strong, not too slow and is semi-aquatic. So you could get both the land and aquatic experience in one with that one. Being semi-aquatic also means it can be a lot easier to survive certain situations if there’s water nearby, like if you’re starving and need fish, or if you get attacked on land by other creatures.

I personally like the carno look, they could’ve made the pycno one the default though. I would prefer if they made all tail attacks do raw damage and then pycno have a normal tail attack that does the knockback like currently instead of a charged tail attack but, oh well.

Lol yeah, claw barrage is better in some cases but that’s why I prefer claw attack. Most of the barrage attacks are braindead and overpowered and honestly shouldn’t exist, but bleed especially on sucho kinda requires skill to stack and keep on the opponent, because sucho doesn’t do a whole lot but it can stack fast.

@dtbrex08 i imagine its best to hit it often? when would be a good time to attack with it? ofc, while still probably biting? also it seems great for dealing with raptors if you can hit them!

It’s most useful against things like apexes imo so you can let them bleed. I’d say if you get free areas try to get the claw attacks up, and if you’re in the position to bite then bite for damage. If you can’t bite raptors then claw attacks will work but if you can definitely try biting, claw doesn’t do much raw damage

I’d say unless you can’t choose, just pick what you like the most. If you want my opinion though, I personally like the 10% increased health regeneration subspecies, long distance runner on legs, and resilient scales for the hide. But all of the subspecies are good in their own way, same with your creature’s abilities. So just pick what you like if you want!

Funny thing is I saw the adult bars before the fight as I was walking away from Broken Tooth Canyon down the coast, I thought it was chill enough because it saw me but just kept questing. Next thing you know it comes over to help the group of things I’ve been fighting after a couple of minutes 🤣 I don’t see how they needed that much to stop a PYCNO from killing a SUCHO (tier 3 vs tier 4) and they STILL didn’t kill me lol.

I don’t think that was the intent lol, would be funny if so though. If anything I think he was trying to knock me into the water but I doubt it.

@dtbrex08 in the video that the rex was captured the foot steps sound the same as your video, and you can hear rex far away before you see especially when your surrounded by trees

It sounds the same, but the ones at the beginning were very fast/rapid, and seemed almost in sync with the deino running which is why I thought it was maybe a bug or possibly a new feature for the larger creatures

@dtbrex08 i dont think it was the deino, i think it was defo rex or another large dino and the foot steps just happened to be synced up with deino

@ Maybe, but rex definitely doesn’t stomp that fast with only 2 feet. Meanwhile deino is a quadruped so it makes sense that it could be that fast but who knows. I’ll be honest I thought it was an allo at first lol but we’ll never know for sure I guess
