Thank you! About to ditch paper music. You explain very clearly!
Can we get some other basic information like … Setting a different tempo for different pages?
How big of a file would email let me send? I want to share the entire 1st trombone jazz music (I have as a set list). 88 songs.
Is the Pro version required to import new stamps?
Thanks for the great information!
Yes, too bad
I LOVE ForeScore, what a great program!
Thank you 🙏
I have chords & Lyrics music files downloaded from ultimate guitar. Can I use in Forscore?
Just investigating tablets and software and these forScore tutorials are very helpful. However, as a composer, I've been naively imagining software that actually allows me to 'hand-write' on the table, which then can be displayed as notation (Sibelius in my case) with the click. Right?
forScore seems very powerful. Like many apps, it has poor instructions/tutorials, and yet claims it is "intuitive." I found THIS video helpful. Still, it would have been much more helpful if we had been able to actually see the cursor moving on the screen, not simply a white circle popping up somewhere to indicate that a button was clicked or pressed, and then disappearing. Prepared bullet-point instructions attached to the tutorial as pdf files for the learner would be astounding. I did find this video helpful, but as you can see from the comments, many new users are frustrated with the "tutorials" available, and the company that makes forScore does not do itself a favor by failing to proved dead simple, step-by-step instructions for every function of their program.
Thank you for your information. I have just purchased forscore and I am really surprised how un-intuitive this program is. Thank goodness for youtube. Just a little note for you-It is very hard to see what you are doing bacause the display is so tiny and you can’t really zoom in on a video. 🙃
Thank you! Looks like you posted this 10 years ago and I just found it in 2023. Very, very helpful. I haven't seen anyone talk about this feature with the links.
Hello. Thanks for this! Is there some way to use this feature but for the program to only flip one sheet at a time? So that the page on the right becomes the page on the left when flipped? Thanks!
Very helpful, thanks!
Is there auto scroll ? how do I get the face movement turn feature
This video is years old. Try looking up a recent tutorial. Face gesture turning is a forscore pro feature. It is 10$ a year.
That was a waste of time but I did find out that my Forscore has no Setlist Creator. With this I will type in Setlist Creator in search to see if what she used was an old version that had it where the new don't. Time will tell.
This video is really old. Could you post an updated video? Otherwise, this was helpful.
Unable to see stamps collections on the forscore site. Looks like they maybe took them down?
Can I interchange scores between different set lists ?
Cannot follow you. Talking too fast. Too much information.
You can just sue the MIC to speak the text........
Hi, many thanks for the video. Is there a method to cut lines and move them to a new place? I ask as in some classical guitar pieces you have both standard notation and tab music, I find it best to “white out” the tab part but then move the normal notation up to make for less page turns. I hope you follow me - any thought would be most welcome
Watching this was the best 14:46 I ever spent. I'm a pro musician (piano). Not tech savy at all. This got me up and running. Now I know how to get my scores into forScore and where they're stored. I can consistently go from one view to another without getting lost in the navigation. I have a current version (13.0.5). Yes, some things are different, but some are not. I'm now starting to understand how this app works. Just wondering whether you'll be doing more forScore videos in the future. If not, I'm sure I'll learn a lot by watching your other ones. Thanks
I’m having difficulty to save score to PDF. It saves as jpg..
This is the worst application I have ever used. As soon as I can find something better I will. I can import things but I cannot find them or navigate the app at all. Who designed this? It is the singularly least intuitive computer program I have ever used.
It is up to you too organize your pieces when it comes to name and composer and way more in terms of different labels and genres
This is very useful. However, there are some pieces that jump back, say to the beginning, but then part way through jump to the coda several pages on. Can you set up TWO links?
Thanks for this video!
I have a problem reorganizing a score that is encrypted. Somehow it got a page doubled and I’d like to remove it. Any suggestions?
Very helpful
So far your "how to" videos are the best of any category that I have needed to follow. Yours have helped immensely and saved me much time and energy. Thank you so much for sharing this info
Thank you very much
Does not help if you are working on a Mac book
I also can share directly to the devise: for example my phone is on and so share the phone shows up in the choice from my iPad.. I click on that, then on the phone I except the file in forScore. And there it is.
It would be nice to start with the iPad year you have because some of the things you're showing are not on my iPad older iPad.
This video is 10 years old. Would be a good idea to use a newer video.
Thank you from 2021!
So many helpful tips!! Thank you for a tutorial that really delivers!
Hi there I just discovered that you can copy and paste measures from one page to the other.. DO you happen to know how to do this?? need help !!
Does it have an on-board metronome that can scroll the music in time for you? If not, it should. It would be a great practice tool.
Yes it does. A really good one
Is there some other way to access scores? I tried Google Drive, but that didn't work. I am now trying Dropbox, and all my files remain grayed out, and I cannot move any of them. Is that some other cloud program that will work with Fourscore?
Extremely helpful, thank you!
Thanks, I wonder if I import a whole real book. Can this help search quickly over hundred plus pages?
So a this is an old version and very different from the latest one. Also there should’ve been more on using an empty version of forScore and adding your first PDF.
This is terrible...…...bad teacher.
Thanks so much for this!!!
libary!
Not helpful. She has left off some vital information.
What I don't get after I imported from Dropbox to For Score is that I can pull up the pdf but I cant play it? My piano teacher told me about this app and that I could upload pdf to the app and practice music sheets on my ipad and it will play the music so I can follow.
How you download all the pages?
Very nice but my screen looks nothing like this tutorial: Where is the DONE button? I have no arrows next to the toolbox and although it seems to save, each time I go back to the title, none of my entries are there.
This video is 7 years old. The current version looks much different
There is no such thing.
