Either got lucky with a couple of chaos +1 and well of Charon items, or the mirror of night mod. Gunna guess the latter.

They got the fully loaded boon but idk where they got the rest of the bloodstones from

@@suchar7175 Thanks. This boss is by far the hardest for every challenge run I’ve ever done of this game, and while now I actually quite like him, the process of learning him was agony, kinda similar to how I feel about consort Radahn. Best of luck if you ever decide to challenge Simon on level 1.

@@suchar7175 Thanks! It honestly could have been a lot faster in phase two, I played pretty unoptimally. She’s a super fun fight but the lightning nuke ruined it for me for a while, it’s just a reaction time check and if you miss it it just feels shitty

@@SacredWalrus I agree, without lightning nuke (or if this attack worked a bit differently) she could be my number one Boss of all time, because other than that she is perfect mechanically and great in every other regard in my opinion.

Can you give a timecode to which attack do you refer as lighting nuke?

@ It’s the attack right at the start of phase 2, I can give a time code if you want but I think it’s pretty easy to find

@@grayestrat Thanks, I wanted to do Messmer cosplay build for a while, and it feels like his equipment is specifically built for fighting lion, which is somewhat thematic to the lore as well

@@abdulrhmanelfeky8534 A boom from Demeter turns your cast into the beams, and with a tier 2 from Demeter and a duo from Demeter and Artemis they become this crazy

the laser beam is a boon from Demeter which turns the red throwey thing into that, but it's slow and not that powerful unless you get a dual boon with artemis that makes them faster to follow up enemies and have their damage increased

@@grayestrat Spending 18 hours on him for this run and about 40 hours on the fight in total I think I’m as close to mastering this boss as I’ll ever get (or want to get for that matter)

@SacredWalrus love fighting this boss. Been working on my +0 a little but man no aux is gonna be long as hell. Even upgraded weapon on ng+7 took 8 minutes.

@@grayestrat Are you doing level 1, +0, scadu 0 ng+7? If so that is crazy and best of luck on the fights either way. I love Bayle even on long fights and other than the fire hitboxes he is crazy well balanced for a dragon

@@SacredWalrus no I'm not doing ng7 at +0 just base ng like the others I've done. Might even resort to frost or something too

@@grayestrat That’s good, the ng+7 health and poise increases might be too much honestly. Also yeah using bleed or frost on the star fists would probably be good, and really any of the statuses except rot are good but not op so that would probably be the most fun way to do it

@@phillip1054 Crystal Beams are so damn fun to use and are surprisingly adaptable even on moderately high heat levels like 32

@@LompaGaming Thanks! Technically no damage, because I messed up the strafe on the grab that time and it counts as a hit, but doesn’t do damage. This is probably my hardest boss kill and my hardest non-reset run, but I’ve done a few other challenges I think are harder
