Put a steel prop on a 3litre OMC stern drive. Prop seemed to generate a flywheel effect and smooth out unwanted vibrations. Also seemed to have better traction in the water. I was impressed.

I have a 14p aluminum prop getting 5000 rpm at wot. My engine is rated at 5500rpm.. I want to get a stainless steel prop at get to 5500rpm at wot. What would you recommend?

I swapped a solas Amita 10.3 / 12p wot 4500 21 mph for a solas Amita 10.8 x 10p 5350 rpm 23 mph. Trim level on both. Evinrude 25hp 1989 trapper topper 15 stick steer.

I have a ranger vx1788 150 pro xs. It currently has a 19p 4 prop revolution steel. Is this good enough I’ve hit 40mph haven’t really maxed out but I’m assuming kits close to max mph. I want more speed usually 4-6 of us with normal fishing gear. All led acid battery atm.

Hello, I have a 2019 Sailfish DC325 with twin Yamaha 300FCU Outboards. The props on the boat are Yamaha Saltwater Series 2 15 1/4 with an 18 Tilt. I find that the bow under acceleration always rides high and never seems to settle in and get on plane. Any thoughts on changing to a different size, blade count, or tilt?
