My passneger was a first timer. Quite nervous. Take your time and stay close to center lines as appropriate. Trust many of the other drivers are felling just as nervous - other than idiots passing at speed. Those drivers do not pay your you insurnace and/or you funeral dues. Drive from summti down to Aspen is pretty relaxed I would say. Next: try Red Mountain Pass from Ouray over to Silverton. In Winter!! been there done that and yes! in winter you do need to prepare.
