Dr. Damina, I am one of your greatest admirers, lovers, and defenders. I addictively listen to your messages at least 3-4 hours daily. I have been inexplicably blessed and enriched by them. I have a serious problem with this teaching on calling you my father. Sir, I TOTALLY DISAGREE with you and refuse that any Christian should call another, "Father". On earth, I have ONE biological father. In heaven (spirit), I have ONE spiritual Father, and it is God. OUR FATHER, is God's exclusive reserve. Sir, God gave you and other men of God as Pastors, Apostles, Teachers, Evangelists and Prophets to us to feed, direct, mentor and guide us. Stay in the title and responsibility he has called you to and stop this inordinate desire for recognition, influence, affirmation as "Papa" or "Father". I believe you are allowing the flesh to cause you to fall into the same temptation of the materialistic preachers who desire, power, control and influence. You are encroaching into God's reserved position sir. I like everything about you except this Roman Catholic-induced doctrine of calling another man "Father". I have listened to several of your messages on this topic and have refused to accept it. My spirit resists it as falsehood. I strongly believe that the scriptures you taught to justify why you should be called father, are twisted and misinterpreted to support this falsehood Still love you so much sir.
