Not to sound controversial here! But can't you see the interpretation Pastor Abel Damina gave us wrong. Read the very Gospels across Matthew, Mark and Luke you'll see Jesus expressly stated this symbolizes my Body and Blood. And read Saint Paul's account about it in Corinthians 11 you'll see it was clearly not a metaphor but a tradition that was passed down to them from the early Church. Yes we don't practice the formal traditions, but that doesn't negate the fact the still the body of Christ has it own unique traditions. Like the witnessing of the gospel amongst others. Just read clearly. Understand the context and the whole story build up. Yes it wasn't called the Holy Communion. And nowhere in scriptures calls it the holy communion. But like every traditions practiced by any body or society over time it's given a name for the purpose of easy recognition. Yes a lot of what the Catholic body says about the Holy Communion is wrong. But that doesn't negate the fact that they're right that it's a tradition of the church handed over to us by Christ himself.
