I agree that people shouldn't be rude to Hikaru over the tierlist, it's something lighthearted and no one needs to be mean about it. However healthy disagreement is fine, isn't it? A lot of people are just maturely debating about the actual general strength of these characters compared to how someone like Hikaru might personally see it from his own isolated experiences. Hikaru shares his opinion and viewers share theirs. Also, many people disagreeing are talking in the grand scheme of things, especially because personal opinion and personal experience (especially because of tier, server, and ping differences) don't matter to what is objectively strong in the meta and what isn't, and because many inexperienced players look to content creators' tierlists for help. If it's inaccurate to the bigger picture then that'd mislead some viewers. For example NW is a decent tie pick in the meta, many people are stating facts that support the idea that NW is a lot stronger in actuality and NAEU rank NWs might just not be skilled enough. Regardless no one should be rude about the tierlist.

yeah, as hikaru said at the end this is his opinion and we’re allowed to have our own, it really isn’t that serious but when he has an opinion thats so largely disagreed within the community, thats going to spark discussion. we all have our own opinions and for the most part his is an outlier. i apologize to him if my comment felt targeted or anything, but all i was trying to have is like i said, a discussion. and with an ever changing meta like a game like this, there are aspects to talk about

and obviously the people saying “never make a tier list again” and “you are stupid for this” are obviously out of hand, horrible, and not being conducive to a discussion.

i was expecting a reply like that and it’s probably the most healthy response i could’ve imagined but what comments show is not just a light disagreement but hatred. ‘never rank again’ ‘what is that’ ‘what a lame tierlist’ n so much more could’ve been avoided with a more expensive language n perhaps an explanation on why they disagree but they’re just hating so why would they do that, right? especially when idv fandom is all bout drama. sharing ur opinion upon another one is one thing but hating on the entire tierlist just because u disagree is another point of view. i dont specifically agree with some stuff as well but i don’t take it to heart. i don’t think it’s gonna affect low tiers watching this video too, watching this will make them form an idea but if they’re gonna relate or not is due to their experience. im sure hikaru also based them more on how he feels when he’s playing those hunters, not against them.

yeah opinions do matter but not hatred and that’s the big difference. those who express their emotions over thoughts are the ones getting out of hand which shows how immature they can be, simply proving their ‘opinions’ do not matter as they only spread negativeness. u are valid tho.

However I totally agree with ur S tier list.

Also i feel like asia survivors play more support heavy strategies majority of the time (in rank, not tournaments), while naeu is more solo kite + rescue

yes! i’ve only been an a badge nw, i’m not that good at all but this baffles me (as i left a reply under oturi’s comment). (do you know any specific streams/videos you were in so that i could watch? my thoughts are also not malicious at all, i respect hikaru and his opinion, and i have a different one but…yeah. it seems more personal preference than anything

@@vstro_i i haven’t been in one of hikaru’s streams in a few months because i don’t do that session anymore, but i can say i was in at least his session from dec 27 at the 1 hour 40 min mark (that’s the game i was referencing specifically about full pres nw). i’ve been in other creator’s streams more often though, if you wanna check santi’s i got him 3 times on his jan 12 stream, my ign is イタヵ. i do think that hikaru's opinion may be influenced by personal experience with less good nw players not to be rude 😭 a lot of us in naeu have lower nw wrs and don’t use him optimally unfortunately. i myself had a way lower success rate on nw in high tier before watching more ccs from asia server who explain every detail about their nw gameplay, which helped me improve. mb i yap a lot but i’m just v passionate about maining nw

@@keifizz could u tell some specific channels that have good nw gameplay? im currently an A badge and a cyclops and like 90% of my matches are ties, i struggle to turn them into wins unless the survs mess up really bad so i could use some tips

@@nina.0_0i understand the struggle with ties, in most standard games once your first target is dead there tend to be 2 ciphers remaining at best and it’s up to you to control the game and steer it towards your win. apparently i’m not allowed to share other channels in this channel’s comment section but i will recommend watching naeu spec the pros, asia spec the pros, and tournament nw (i heard nw has a high use rate in IVL?) and if you want further help/recommendations you can add me in game! my ign is イタヵ 3rd nw in naeu currently so not that hard to find
