been grinding for this on and off whenever I've had free time and holy shit I did not expect to get it like this. I don't even think I've ever gotten a 500k post-transition before, and yet I managed to clutch it out after one of my best transitions into level 19 (585k). my previous PB was 893k (was waiting for 900k+ before uploading), barely making this a 200k score improvement! I could've gotten 1.1M as well if I clutched that 6 high 4 tap, but I honestly couldn't care less. GG.

saved 2 frames over the former TAS (ua-cam.com/video/Gn53q -F2s/v-deo.html) by being farther left during the final inputs, causing the crash to occur earlier. why didnt you do the flagpole glitch
timing ends when i hit the flagpole rather than when the level fades to black, so flagpole glitch would actually be slower because you grab the flagpole later (it saves time AFTER the flagpole is hit, which doesnt matter here)

nah, since i only clip into the pipe because i need the scroll the screen (like in 4-2 wrong warp) for the crash to be doable

oh oops. being backwards wouldnt actually save time since when you're being pushed into the block, your speed is at 0, so acceleration wouldnt be a factor. you'd only start speeding up when you're fully into the block which you'd already be landed by then (so you wouldnt be backwards anymore)
