1996 Nissan Primera P10 clicking sound from dashboard
Unidentified sound from front left corner of dashboard. Sounds like engaging electrical device, clicks constantly even when no key in ignition.
What might it be? How do I fix it?

Wow. So rich, so cool, so attached to nature. I want that car, too.

One of the fastest Volvo's on the road, powerful disc brakes - and obviously some sensible drivers.

"Drive your Volvo like you hate it" - 1963 Volvo ad
I speak english I liked all those volvo crash tests that were from the late 1990's and I want to know the name of the relaxing music and who it's by.
I Love Volvo
I was just getting my driver's license and remember those ads. A couple years later I had an older Volvo and my mother was trying to park it when a passer by by said..."drive it like you hate it, lady". And she did because it was manual.
this 1963 volvo gets better fuel economy than my 2004 volvo
and most likely 4 times more mass to hp ratio
Drive it like you hate it
Do you think volvo uses its old lab in 2000? Yes they did because their new lab wasnt constructed yet Do they still use the old lab Yes
Fun Fact:the 2 number detonates what year the Volvo was tested, example the C70 (Test Number 962027) was tested in 1996
Music really relaxing
35 mph isn't bad. I would watch 65 mph tests too.
Old Volvos don't die, they just get faster
The cow is the best part, more cow please.
Checks if it is not a fuse or it is not a relay that no longer works
fuck Volvo
Renzee White but you can't criticize volvo.
И что это было?
Where the old Volvo crash test center?
It has been integrated in the new Volvo Safety Centre
Thank you for Your UPLauD.
The tapping/clicking central locking relais is a very common failure pn P10 Primera's.
My Dad had one of these and hated it...Head gasket issues....He never bought another. I have had multiple Bricks with very good success.
Interesting, they have added the sound from another car to make it sound more brutal.
I bet you don't even know what a Volvo Amazon sounds like...ffs...An engine from the fiftees, then drive it on 6k rpm...it sounds like that...
They definitely added the tyres squealing, considering it was on gravel.
yeah but nothing else, I agree on the fact tat the tire squeaking is fake but the rest isn't, trust me I know
Yes,Sure!!! The VOLVO for Ever... Tomoyuki Watanabe(渡辺 朋幸),president of CarShionDs. [CarShionDs] Automobiles and Tradings,HeadOffice,Tokyo-JAPAN.
What are the key differences in the integrity of the car that have changed from the 1980's until now?
Yeah but most of todays modern cars are souless transportation husks. The cars of yesteryear had some fucking personality. Quite yer bitchin' and go drive your Boss.
My 2011 Honda Accord V6 EX-L gets around 25 mpg, and weighs 3,500 or so pounds and has a 271 horsepower engine. 0-60 is about 6 seconds and the quarter mile takes 14.something seconds. July 20, 2013 7:51 am
Haha! The cow! xD
sounds like the blinker lol, don't worry its just a bomb....
Felgi z "R"ki tak zniszczyć :(
Hmmm, I can see the classic "fuckit" nihilistic American attitude came from the 60s where the gvt beat Nuclear holocaust into our brains...
Cool video and I like the Volvo. It does not makes sense to compare old technology to new technology. At least not in the context of this forum discussion. The only comparisons that are relevant are between cars for the same era. To many changes in technology, safety, consumer expectations... have happened to make the discussion relevant. I would be more interested in hearing how this car stacks up against similar cars of that era.
Damn it I hate you Volvo! Does 6s in quarter mile...aaaarrrhhhhggg!
Drive it like you hate it? one of the best advertizing slogans...ever.
My car is 1.6 litres, 143HP 0-60 mph in 8.2 seconds. It weighs 1200 Kg and if i'm driving normal it's 80mpg average... Welcome in europe.
Sounds like 50 years of progress to me, especially as this car was made in Europe. Well possibly made in Volvo's Newfoundland factory but European design.
Which car? Anyway 70 miles per gallon is a normal score for a compact diesel japanese or european
My 85 740 gets 36 mpg on the highway ! Just took it for a 3000 mile trip.
2 liter turbo 4 straight?
That '63 Volvo had about a 2 to 2.5 liter engine and wheezed to 60 in about 14 seconds and still only achieved 25 mpg? Let's get real, cars today with all their extra weight, safety and emissions equipment will STILL beat the fenders off anything from the 1960's in every performance parameter. 2 things, 1) I'm a boomer with an original Boss 302, and 2) Thank GOD for the EPA and the NHTSA or we would have 100,000+ traffic deaths per year, and LA would have a more opaque sky than it had back then.
Nah not even that this was a 1.8 liter. Gotta say my godparents had a later 67' Volvo with a 2 liter version of that same powerplant and that did more like 30mpg, so it might be down to US gas? But yeah that's pushrods, carburettors and four speeds for ya.
did they captured this video by calculator?
i love my 122!! I beat the shit out of it!
I wish they still made parts for the 144E mine is just sitting in drive way ;__:
how much spontaneity does the cow insert add at 0:43..?
@whattheheck1000 Funny how they switched to safety ads lol
meine Fresse die 'R' Felgen hätte ich gerne vom kombi weggeschraubt....
@creamcheesedeluxe Google searching "Drive your Volvo like you hate it" - results come in magazines circa 1963, and all webpages, etc, suggest this is circa 1963 ad campaign. Still, I'm not ragging on you for saying 1950s; I thought it looked late '50s myself until I looked it up out of curiosity. December 12, 2011 7:41 am
These sure as hell don't get 25MPG.
Further research suggests this is a circa 1963 ad campaign. November 27, 2011 2:32 am
Definitely 1958 or later, probably 1958-1961 sometime. November 25, 2011 4:13 am
yup drive it like its your ex's car!
tire screech on dirt :D
drive it like you stole it
