She has grown up and matured so much in the last 10 years. Can you believe she was once a bad heroin addict?? This proves any addict can turn their lives around. She is doing great! She was always my favorite between her & Paris. Absolutely FUNNY on Simple Life!!
Ok no it doesn't prove that. She has incredibly devoted and supportive parents, considerable financial resources, and a loving partner who was by her side when she decided to turn things around. She had absolutely every advantage. I'm not saying her life was easy, no one's is, but she had socio-economic and familial resources that not everyone else is lucky enough to have.
F E at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you have, or don't have. It's a decision you have to make for yourself. No one else can make it. And I get what your saying on a fiancial level, but people with money have issues also. Money isn't a factor. Support is. It's up to every addict to surround themselves aroubd positive, uplifting people. Soooo.... Its about the person and what they want. Addicts wth no support, or fiancial resources get clean on a daily basis. It always circles back to support. You must have positive support. I have 3 years clean so I am speaking from one who's been there, done it, and bounced back.

I'm at a loss why you feel the need to point out to me that "people with money have issues also" when my own post literally made that exact point already! Same goes for "support"; did you even actually read my post? Devoted and supportive parents, Familial resources, and loving partner, All = SUPPORT. Youu're reiterating things that I've already said yet acting like you're correcting me. Also money can have a huge influence on the extent to which support is available to people and the quality of support they can access. So not only is money a factor but it is also one with a considerable bearing on what you perceive as the main factor, i.e. support. You're also contradicting yourself saying that "you *must* have positive support" but then also saying that "addict's with no support get clean on a daily basis". Congratualtions on your sobriety but those experiences only qualify you as an expert on your own addiction and sobriety, not anybody else's.
