Rock God Tech Demo Gameplay (2009)

This is a play through of the Rock God tech demo I worked on back in 2009. It uses the same custom game engine (Fusion) we used for Tiqal, Yard Sale Hidden Treasures and SimCity iphone but with 3D added. I setup the fret board playfield and it's effects as well as the environmental effects.
Luxor Evolved UI Tour
Переглядів 582 роки тому
I dreamed up Luxor Evolved as a way to improve on nearly every aspect of Luxor. My team and I overhauled the core game-play to make it faster paced and easier to play. We added more power-ups, more combos, bullet time, interactive music, level bosses, a new look and more. I packed it with classic arcade game references as well. It is still the highest rated MumboJumbo title on Steam. My respons...

PocketWings: Discovery Island
Переглядів 904 роки тому
PocketWings: Discovery Island is a mobile casual flight sim I helped create in Unity a number of years ago. I hand-crafted the world and built several of the aircraft. I also set up all the aircraft flight physics. In a later update, I updated all the UI. It was programmed by Eric Parker who also worked on Hellcats over the Pacific, A-10 Attack!, A-10 Cuba and Fighter Squadron: Screamin' Demons...

12 years ago. Time really does fly. Thank you very much for building this game.
You're very welcome! So glad you enjoyed playing it. We had an absolute blast making it and it's still one of my favorite games.
Nice
Im the casual game enthusiast!
Hi, so I wanted to try this game, however while attempting to run it on Windows 10, it doesnt work at all. I'm not sure how this happens but I wanted to try this game since I like aesthetics here.
Glad to hear your interested in playing TIqal. Unfortunately the game doesn't seem to like Windows 10 at all. I've experimented with all of the compatibility settings and none of them have worked for me. I think it runs fine on Windows Vista, 7 & 8 just not 10.
@@Kryttre What platform did you use to run the game from this video? I'd like to know since I've been trying to run this game for a while now.
Hi! apparently this game doesn't run on my computer when I want to try it, Is there a way to fix it? (I have it on Windows 10 just in case)
I love this game, but my version doesn't work, please send me a copy of the game that works perfectly, thanks
I don't think anything would work except for playing it lower than Windows 10, any method of settings doesnt budge.
Man himself chad woyewodzic wow cant believe it lol
I just realized I stumbled upon the channel of one of the people behind the Luxor series, and I don't know if you'll see this or not, but I just wanna say thank you for making a part of my childhood.
I see it :) It's always a pleasure to hear from the people who enjoy the games I've helped create. I have fond memories of making Luxor games, especially Luxor Evolved. We were small team that was driven to make fun games. Fun fact: Gamehouse almost turned down publishing original Luxor down on a Friday saying "We've already got something similar". They had their testers play all weekend and on Monday they completely changed their minds and we're all in. Take care!
are you sikh?

I recently got the game and it’s been very fun. Is the game still being developed?
Glad you're enjoying the game. We have a big update in the works but have no release date for it as of yet.
Hello, I would like to know if the game is still in development and also if you plan to release it on Steam? One of my first favorite games (on my first computer) was "Hellcats over the Pacific". My next computers were PC's and I always regretted not being able to re-launch that old title. I always loved the flat design, minimalist texture, etc... Well, at the time it was the technical limitations (but it was impressive as a rendering for 1991), but I find that it's an artistic direction that works particularly well in VR (besides I loved Ultrawings partly for that). When I discovered the existence of "Hellcats VS Zero" I was really excited, unfortunately it happened when Oculus announced to drop the Rift line abruptly, just a few months after the release of the Rift S (which I had just acquired by selling my Rift). Since then, I don't want to buy from the Oculus Store, considering that there is a high risk that in a few months/years they'll end up just removing it. In short, they have no consideration for their customers, I'm not going to give them my money. However I really want to play Hellcats VS Zero, so if you tell me that there is no Steam release planned it is likely that I will reconsider :) Anyway I congratulate you for the early access, I wish you a great continuation and keep this game fresh in my list of future purchases :)
Sorry for delay in getting back to you. It's always nice to hear from fans of the Hellcats over the Pacific. Hellcats vs Zeros is a spiritual successor to Hellcats over the Pacific. HvZ's flight mechanics were, in fact, written by Eric Parker, the same guy who wrote Hellcats over the Pacific (and quite a few other flight sims). While I still play HvZ using my original Rift and Quest (via the link cable), I certainly understand your concerns. The best I can tell you at this point is that we're looking into the possibility of a Steam release but have nothing to announce at this time.
@@Kryttre Thanks for the answer (and don't worry it was a quick answer, I was expecting in xx months you would come across my comment and take the time to answer me ^_^). You have absolutely and perfectly convinced me... If the programmer who took care of the flight model of Hellcats Over The Pacific took care of HvZ, Well, I bought it on the Oculus Store. My "disagrement" with Oculus has really no reason to prevent me from playing a game that makes me so envious. It's downloading at my place, I feel like I'm going to lose a few hours this afternoon ^_^ I wish you all the best and a lot of success. Have a nice day Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
Thanks! We certainly hope you enjoy playing it.
Chad, are you the developer of this game?
Yes. I'm the primary of the developer on a small team.
Its good to see someone else playing this game, I really like it. It just needs some more work and attention.
Glad you're enjoying it. I play it almost every day. I also work on it, fixing/improving things and adding "stuff" to it almost every day. An update is in the works.
@@Kryttre that’s awesome! If I may make a suggestion, a variety of maps and/or flyable aircraft would make the game even better. I haven’t played the game in a few weeks but I’ll probably play again tonight! Ps. The Hellcat has been my favorite airplane ever since I was a little kid so this game was a dream come true.
I've re-tuned the flight models of all the existing aircraft so everything should fly a bit better. This year we've been on a bit of an new aircraft push. We've added a simple "Test Pilot Academy" menu to the Quickplay Menu where you can test fly every plane in the game from any starting location, including various new aircraft (17 so far), including our work-in-progress planes. They're all flyable, but many lack complete cockpits/features. Some are from other eras and some are just for fun, like the Ultralight. We really want to add new maps and stand-alone missions as well, hopefully sometime next year. We may sneak in some "hidden" test maps though. We love the Hellcat as well. It's an iconic plane. HvZ is a bit of a spiritual successor to Hellcats over the Pacific by Eric Parker back in 1991. Eric even did the flight tech for HvZ.
@@Kryttre Woah, I'll definitely have to jump back in then. I've missed a lot!
@@nick.1237 These changes will all be in the upcoming update. We haven’t released one in a while. Sorry for any confusion.
I want to see hellcat footage pls
Love the game! Can’t wait till it gets more updates!

Nice :)
I remember playing the very first Luxor when i was 5 years old. THEM CHILDHOOD
Meu Deus q vicio!!!!! Parece dificil!! Eu quero jogar!! amo luxor!!
Hehe Windows Style rules ;)

this luxor maybe evolved....BUT PLAYERS DIDNT EVOLVE IN SUPER FAST ANDROIDS FFS...i can barelly keep up with this retarded speed they put in,thats all i can complain about :D
best luxor ive ewer played :))))))))
Luxor + Geometry Wars = This. Looks like fun, but I don't enjoy these kinds of rail-ball games much. Didn't like Zuma, didn't like Atlantis, didn't like this...The games run a little too fast-paced for me.
