So a couple things i will add after doing this glitch all day yesterday.. i have found out a few things that may keep it from working. First off you have to be transferring an item from one character to another character it cannot be the same one so make a new toon if you need to it doesn’t matter the lvl of toon. Yeah ive seen this but it is abit slow doing this method. Just upload and download the shared stash for anything you want. Also i know this is 2 years ago but hopefully you know you can upload this to youtube directly from your console. I see way to many people take photos with there phone and recording there tv. I mean come i did that when the equipment wasnt available and you had to rig your pc to your console with some software which not everyone had or knew how to do.

Different method for xbox you have to save scum. I dont have it fully figured out yet but I have gotten it to happen a few times. Haven't seen any videos for xbox method surprisingly tho

Along the same line as this. I am on a PlayStation 4, is there absolutely anyway to change your player count or improve your odds while farming runes in lower kurast? All the UA-cam videos have the player counts set at 7 or 8. 436 LK runs in and one GUL is all I’ve been able to find.

Wait was your characters both offline and you were just saying offline as you picked it. I'm very confused here when you mentioned offline. Is this an offline only dupe? Not very good at explaining? Does this work for Xbox and PC. These are questions you need to already have explained during a tutorial on how this works.
Offline only, and looks like PS5 only actually. For offline PC it's even easier, you just go to your save folder and duplicate the save files.

yeah till they get deleted lol. They have been getting deleted the past few days so will suck if you lose both that way, it removes the original and the dupe.

Hi. Is it possible to dupe on online and ladder? The reason Im asking is because Im one of those "want stuff to be legit" type of players and dont like trade market being flooded by dupes, it kind of kills my d2 mood. Since you play online, I was also wondering if you find the ps4 experience to be stable; since Ive heard a few rumors about rollbacks and dissapearing save files. I want to buy the game, would love to know this at beforehand!
nah no duping or any kind of exploits when playing online/ladder, everything is saved server side.

Just a little note to anyone trying this, make sure you test it with something easily replaceable in case the game erases both items (original + duped). I tried this about a dozen times and finally got the glitch to work with a P Ruby last night. When I hopped on my offline toon this morning, both rubies were no longer in existence. The game "exploitive deleted" my exploitive deleted so just a friendly heads up. Not sure exactly what caused it but hopefully this makes some people aware so they don't go trying to dupe a Ber or Jah on their first attempt and lose valuable HR(s).
