I began singing in my 20's, then I stepped away from music after my partner passed away following a tragic accident, which turned into a much longer break.
At the end of 2020 I started learning to write my own songs and producing for the first time. It was amazing to have music in my life again.
Since then I've released 10 singles and my first EP 'Nightfall' was released on the 26 Jan '23.
'Rolling Stone' AU/NZ featured 'Nightfall' on all their publication homepages awarding the EP 'Record of the Week' in January '23
Wonderland Mag, Dec '22 said - "Keep an eye out for this rising star - she’s sure to leave her mark on the music industry."

Claire Littley - Wishing On A Star
I’ve always wanted to make a cover of ‘Wishing On A Star’.
I love the recording by ‘Rose Royce’ (originally written by Billie Rae Calvin), but I wanted to explore creating a more 'vulnerable' vocal performance and chilled, more soulful arrangement arrangement.
My inspiration for reimagining this song came also from its universal themes of hope, longing, and love. These emotions transcend generations and musical genres.
Beyond musicality, this very personal meaning, for myself and many listeners, is what I believe attracts many people to the song. The act of “wishing on a star” is a universal metaphor for dreaming and striving for something greater, of yearning and hope. I wanted to balance the original melody with my own expression, interpretations and inflections and try to create an ambience and intimacy with my vocal performance and musical arrangement.
I hope you love this version as much as the original. I hope I have honoured the original with this new tribute to 'Wishing On A Star' ❤️⭐️
