He has a macro to either have it cast over where his mouse is, or where his character is. I'm not great with macros so idk what it is, but that's what is happening.

It’s shown in this video - on the far left/middle you can see live icons popping of everything i press. It is a bit situational and not the exact same rotation over and over so analyze and get a feel, also check the comments here and under my last few videos, some good rotation discussions =) Cheers and gl

@@valdogc9543 naah don’t just spam ss on bosses, on single target it’s good to keep wounds on the boss that you can burst with ss, there are ofc auto applies from ghouls and the defile you might wanna put down when a magus ghoul caster is active but they are quickly running out and just like normal raid build and rotation you apply some wounds with normal festering strike to burst and that also shorten the time to a festering scythe proc after 20 wounds bursted which is good st damage =)

Yeahh, just get relieved from the urgency to spend and not overcap runic power 😁 with Festering Scythe build it’s perfectly fine to do so - in a pull this huge as the beginning you kinda forget for it just spam SS (after popping all cds of course) there will be so many wounds applied from your ghouls and defile automatically that it’s even worth to hold a double sudden doom proc for a few seconds until you’re all out of runes for SS ^^ I even hold Festering Scythe in this case for a bit until target count becomes lower. RP spend time comes for normal epidemics in smaller pulls when your festering scythe spend your runes for example and while you’re getting ready for the next burst window. And also while movements or tank still haven’t decided where he will finally fkin stop haha, also while single target/prio target death coils, don’t stress it out you will get a feeling in each dungeon and pull eventually with routes not being so diverse this season and know if it’s worth spend on non-sd epidemics or not in the current situation. Also you can’t really be 100% accurate with the judgment but wasted global here and there won’t make a difference really in a whole run. =) Try it out, keep track on the numbers and i’m sure you will actually start feel the abundance of resources which gives you freedom to react however you like or need situationally 🫶🏻

Hi there and thank you very much! =) Generally if you have many targets alive and few seconds left from current defile press SS. Your defile and DT and Abomination are spreading wounds automatically, if you clearly see no target has wounds you can do an epidemic during the window although spamming ss could still also burst icy chains from your horseman if a target has them and it’s big aoe as well. Only do epidemics on sudden doom proc which is guaranteed crit, but do hold even 2x procs on super high target count pulls if you do have runes to spam few SS more cuz i feel it’s more burst dmg. Dump the runic power between defile windows on regular epidemics while regenerating runes or during movement. Death coil instead of epidemic only in single target bosses or when under 3 targets left with mob packs 👍🏻 have fun and let me know if i can help something more =)

@ Thanks so much! That helps. So during defile it’s mostly SS spam until we get a SD proc? Do we want to burst down to 2 festering wounds on a target then FS? And my last question would be we obviously spend our SD procs as quick as possible, an outside defile we use press epidemic, should we also be pressing Epidemic when we don’t have runes? @@matthewchesbrough1553 Yee no worries =) That’s the point, to help the UH fans and prove that player skill > meta concepts 😁 There was a time during shadowlands no1 ran UH in high keys and i was like 1% bracket (not title 0.1%) but first in the world in spec rank haha also actually topping every 2nd 25 or smth 😁 Also can’t provide constant stream at the moment so I prefer answering here when i have the free time. On the question - yes, you spam epidemics if you happen to run out of runes you can normal press epidemic even if defile is still down, the sensitive moment is exactly do you insta use Fasterin Scythe or hold a bit and it depends on the situation. If it’s a big pull and you use it asap when it comes you will actually run out of runes fast and be forced to normal epidemic while bursting wounds is better for the overall dmg and actually getting the adds down faster at this point. If you have an important priority target in the mix tho you might consider FS on it tho, in around 4 target scenarios try to keep an eye on the active wounds of all targets and if there are non or low amount go insta use FS when it procs. 👍🏻

@@Ditronus. Hello =) The thing is that with my current config and stats it’s almost on par like 0.1-0.2% difference to 626 Ara Kara Sacbrood so I didn’t really farm it. Lots of strength + nice crit proc that can also benefit party members so i keep it until vault mythic track sacbrood ^^ If i’m not happy with it i might even try to get heroic track candle from delve vault lol. I only do m+ currently no mythic raiding and really don’t like the hc minigame raid trinket’s engagement and rng, not worth it in my opinion.

What content ur aiming for? Raid you want haste above mastery simply stack as most as haste/mast gear you can, for M+ you want some crit in it, best bet is to sim yourself and aim for BiS especially ring and trinket

I would say something like my current stats u can see on 00:07, siming stats prio gives equal result on every stat currently (after strength ofc). I did a NW with a raid oriented unholy same build but full haste prio + haste flask and nerubian embellishments, i did more then 10% more on trash pulls and almost the same dps on boss fights, so around 23% is fine.

@@austinsurprise1395 Awesome to hear!What’s even more funny is that according to a recent super detailed list data by the class discords (can check it here if it opens: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14Us4SYeq2fr3sG-iv1ADOORaO5NZqXFhQdt7UJzpfro/htmlview# ) unholy is actually “more meta” then frost with frost only ahead on 5 target short burst 😆 And there are still frosts in highest of teams running 18s and stuff, which kind of proves that once you have the required utility you can easily balance and design a team play even up to season title with any class and this meta mentality just have to disappear because it’s destroying the game and people shoud go back to play what they actually like and accept other people choices while making groups and most of all remember that the player makes the play, not the class abilities and potential numbers etc. Blizzard made a good effort on making every class and spec relevant (with a few fails mostly fixed along the way) but unfortunately they made a bad season with this ridiculous +12 leap in difficulty even after the nerf and it discourages players and they will end up losing money because of it. @@Khalilbenyahay scythe all the way 🫶🏻 you lose apocalypse but scythe harbinger of doom defile and aoe scenario bosses compesate for it, the one thing that we should aim for is having rise abom on pull and that way sneak in 3 of them if it’s a longer boss fight and ofc if it’s lust on pull to have it and it’s fine

@@Khalilbenyahay I've found that haste will be lagging behind until you can luckbox a zealot's insignia sadly. I guess you can grab a big haste item with crit on it and that's completely fine in m+ but hurts a bit the raid build.

@@Khalilbenyahayyou can definitely up the haste a bit and compensate with mastery flask, i also have the crit embelishment on two items since i geared specifically for m+ and now have 16.5 crit | 23 haste | 58 mastery | 1 vers and when i sim stat prio it gives me pretty equal results on every stat for Dungeon Slice. Yet if i get Ara Kara trinket with haste from vault i will probably switch it because item level beats the 619 candle and upper the haste quite a bit, sims are saying significant upgrade but we will see eventually =) 626 ara kara is on par in my case like 0.1% upgrade to the 619 candle and candle benefit the whole group procing crit so i keep it on for now.

I actually use the 15 button mmo mouse by Razer and click them pretty fast i guess, i even removed orc racial from a macro to a manual button 😅 The only macros I currently use are for mouseover ress and for dropping death and decay/defile directly under me (which sometimes is not good and also have it normally on a separate button to pre-place it somewhere away if needed). @@darkjason518 with this build you let defile build wounds by its own and spam scourge strike to pop them and use festering scythe when procs (big dam hit + more wounds applied). If you get sudden doom proc you use an epidemic because it’s guaranteed crit. Otherwise when the defile drops you dump runic power on epidemics. Death coil is only single target or 2 target or if you have urgent priority st target. From 3 targets and up use epidemic instead =) Then repeat process with defile and scourge strike spam, don’t worry if you are over capping. Also use the big cds on cd pretty much.

@@Ninjakiller081 that’s kinda rough to decide at times 😅 Still testing scenarios but in big pulls when still a lot of mobs alive and with no prio target i hold it cuz bursting the many active wounds is definitely better. 3-4 adds or with target which needs to die possibly faster to make your party life easier i prio press it 👍🏻

Since you can stack 2 sudden doom procs with this build it’s ok to hold the first one for few seconds to burst as many wounds as possible first, if you get the second proc abort spamming SC and use it prio. 2. If it’s a multi target boss use it for cleave when possible, don’t use it if you’re moving a lot or you know there’s a movement soon, can drop it while walking towards the boss, and also a fine touch is to use one after sudden doom proc use to boost up you’re mage cast speed. 3. Yes, you do if it’s pure St, not the end of the world if you hold it for few secs while focusing on movement or dodging or smth ^^ also don’t use if there’s less then 5 secs remaining of the fight. Ok thanks for the info! One more question, i notice sometimes you use scourge strike without a wound. Is this intentional and are you spamming it in case defile generates a wound?

@@Ninjakiller081 yes, i try to see on the slightly faded enemy unit frames which are not my main target if a wound is present when my main target has none, sometimes if it’s not clearly visible cuz obstruction of too many targets you can always bet there’s some of them in the huge pack and pump 1-2 more scourge strikes on an empty main target till the defile expires 😁

@@Ramunas200 hi there! I used to run it but for sure i think scythe is better. Vile build takes too long to setup and without actual vile ability every 2nd pull is sort of low damage, you can easily desynchronize apocalypse with everything else willing to get the bursting going faster etc. With scythe you have everything every first pull and every second you have only dark transformation and defile but the thing is defile spread wounds automatically itself on chance, so you get much more wounds then with vile/apocalypse build overall. Also harbinger of doom gives you more and stacking sudden doom procs which is better both for aoe epidemic and death coil. The first thoughts were it was going to be weak on boss fights ST but it’s actually not if you just time Rise Abom/full cds for boss pull if it’s going to be lusted, like holding everything but DT for 30 secs before reaching boss if needed, get 2 Abom bursts into boss, good enough. Also If there are adds you’re topping it by a lot most likely =). I have 3 more 10++ runs, check them out, live rotation is on the left if that can be useful to you. There’s a video by Bicepspump named “This Build Has The Best AoE In The Game”, search it out for deeper explanation of talents and how it works =)

@@LCHEN0321 hi there! =) yes, over capping is a thing with this build - simply bursting wounds is doing more dmg then epidemic and due to pestilence your defile will apply them automatically on chance, you prio epidemic during defile only if it’s a sudden doom proc which makes it a 100% crit, otherwise when your defile disappear and you pop a second one you can throw in few non sudden doom epidemics while new wounds are forming, also i do it when there’s a movement/chain pulling before fixating a position and i can put down another defile =) Festering scythe is a bit harder to judge tho, seems that sometimes you have to ignore it’s proc for few seconds if there’s a huge count of enemies since it eats your runes and again bursting wounds with ss (which requires runes obviously) if there’s enough of them already applied will do more dmg in the next few seconds ^^ kinda situational judgement most of the time.

Yes, i use it all the time now, it’s just faster, higher aoe and pretty much the same for st if you manage to time to have rise abomination on boss pull. Lack of apocalypse is sort of compensated by the improved death coil and harbinger of doom and ghoul frenzy 👍🏻

Hi there. For sure it's not optimal if the mobs die too quickly, maybe you can ask the tank to at least chain faster if he doesn't want to pull bigger so you don't loose much of your abomination and horsmen procks etc. Generally the festering scythe build is better for quicker dying mobs then the standard m+ aoe build that has apocalypse and need more time to set up before burst the wounds actually. Try to just use DT and Rise Abom while walking to the pack, put defile under them as well and directly start spam scourge strike when you reach them, wounds will come naturally and you will burst them for good dmg. I've done it as low as a +9 and it was fine, felt better then the bigger setups with the standard build so keep trying i think it will do the job at least and you'll get good with the flow being ready for higher level pushes when the time comes =)

@@GrandMaster-Broda Absolutely, finally some real love for DK from blizzard 🫶🏻 Literally 2 unholy builds and 2 frost builds that are satisfying and applicable. For sure the festering scythe is op only for NW, Ara-kara (got a new video with ara kara 10++ uploaded btw), Stonevault maybe for every day pug scenario, i’m sure we gonna see it in MDI pulling half the dungeon on top of boss as well 😁 but definitely it’s most important for the game’s health the people to have fun and this season is a step in the direction of making all class and specs viable for people to play even in higher diff content imo. I would say we kinda lack priority st damage but if you are judging pure st by the first boss i totally messed it up with using rise abomination right before it and didn’t have it for boss lust on pull, also there is a lot of padding with adds for the ranged in this fight. Check dmg on 2nd and third boss. Yes it’s not as strong as frost on some st fights but it’s perfectly fine just try to have rise abom for lust usages 😁 Also don’t fall for “meta recommendations”, if you like and play unholy better then frost you will in fact do better with it, dropping breaths of syndragosa cuz of lame pug pulls is the worst feeling ^^

@@Thaelos it’s pretty cooldown and burst based yes, but we have everything ready basically for every pack and boss and it feel very good paced and mighty ^^ It used to be bad feeling previously when you don’t time army of the dead well
