Fellow blonde specialist/hairstylist since 2008. I’m also a platinum blonde myself. Lyndsey is what we as stylists consider “horror clients” The entitlement of “she should have just immediately fixed my hair the day she messed it up “ “she could have quickly applied something to have me leave happy it was only 4 o’clock “ What if Goldie had a full book of clients that day? The world doesn’t revolve around Lyndsey even though she’s that type of problematic client. I’ve been doing this so many years & it trains us as stylists for red flags. 🚩 L is a whole red flag. YES as a paying client/human being us as stylists only ever want our clients to be happy. 100%! But this was addressed horribly from the start by L. Here’s what I would have done IF this were happening to me & I was G: If the hair grabbed to ashy initially, if I had time right then & there… we would have went straight to the shampoo bowl and washed in a bleach wash. This is shampoo & a tad of lightener. It opens up the cuticle slightly so that ashy toner would have washed right out. Toners aren’t permanent. Some hot water and several washes would have made L happy but she wasn’t patient enough. In G’s 2 week adjustment period.. if L would have just washed daily in warm/hotter water it all would have washed out & she would have became a bright blonde again EASILY. Team Goldie over here.

Also if she doesn’t want her licenses reported to the board, don’t act like a genuinely unhinged person. When you have a license you have to carry a manner of professionalism… everywhere public. That’s why most licensed professionals at least in medical field don’t make videos like this, becuase social media presence can cause issues with the board…

My sister used to get her hair bleached like white blond, and guess what? When she would come home from her maintenance toning… she came home with purple hair…. And it washed out within a week and was left with the white blond hair. My sister did not care at all because she knew it was the process. This woman is acting like toner doesn’t wash out? You want your hair to look a certain way 24/7 without fail… don’t get it bleached then, keep your natural colour and you won’t have to worry. She’s so childish

The most important part of this is she showed her the color she wanted. The hairstylist agreed. Knew it wasn’t even close to the same and she should have fixed it. There should have been a plan before she left to fix it.

So she received an ashy blonde toner and her hair probably hadn’t been lifted light enough with the bleach which gave her the ash blonde look she perceived to be grey. She should have said something in her chair before leaving. Dawn dish soap strips out the toner so clearly the stylist couldn’t have left the bleach on long enough because after the dish soap L’s hair should have been yellow white blonde had the bleach lifted up white enough. The stylist had to know another toner could never lighten her hair. Only bleach lightens period. All that said it didn’t warrant this drama. It’s hair. I’m still watching but I’m betting whoever fixes it is going to bleach it before any toner is added. Both people are wrong in this situation. Stylist didn’t do what she was paid to do and shouldn’t have gaslit her, but L blew this out of proportion. I’m only 1/4 of the way through the video though.

I am a blonde and here are my opinions: I am team hair stylist. I was born with beach blonde hair and around 18 is when it started to come in a little darker. So I’ve been going to the salon and dying my hair in hopes of keeping my hair blonde. I never look at my hair when it’s wet. It always appears darker when wet. I have noticed my hair will look different shades of blonde in different lighting. I have warmer lights at my home and it does make my hair copper looking. When I’m in natural light, it looks brighter to me. I know many factors can make your hair take the dye differently. Idk-team hair stylist

It’s rage bait at its finest, there’s a difference between going through post partum and then there’s being lazy, I went through it as I could not breastfeed so I felt disconnected from my baby I also had no support only my Grandma and my mom and I was left alone with my baby at 2 weeks of age, but I had to snap out of it cause my kid needed me to be strong so I looked for help in support groups and therapy as well as meditating, of course no one is the same I’m just saying I feel she does it for click bait
