August 11-18. 2022, POSTMAMBO returns to the road with a visit to Afro-Pacifica on the Colombian Coast, attending the Festival de Música del Pacífico Petronio Álvarez in Cali, and traveling to the world capital of currulao, Buenaventura. Led by postmamboist Ned Sublette and ethnomusicologist Michael Birenbaum Quintero. The co-producer in Colombia is Nidia Góngora, who is the lead singer on the soundtrack of this video.
