I'm listening to y'all and watching old NBA games on UA-cam as I type. I stopped watching the current product in 2014 cus I seen all the 3s coming then. I'm 32, so watching Mike, magic, bird, Dr j games nique it's all new to me. And I grew up wit Kobe tmac and Vince dunking that's what I'm used too ,I can't watch 40+ 3s in 1 game I'm sorry. Watching Nash Mavs now his Mavs & suns and Webb kings was fun AF to watch didn't shoot 50 3s but still would drop 120.

I had to come and comment on this one. Kobe Bryant has and always will be my favorite athlete of all time. He's the reason I've also been a Lakers fan my entire life since childhood, even while being surrounded by a family of Bulls fans. To me, he's number one. That's not to discredit anything Magic did on the court or what he means to the legacy of the Lakers. I'll never forget scrolling on my phone in middle school and early high school trying to find the Lakers radio broadcast on random apps (pre-league pass) when the Lakers weren't playing a national TV game that night. Anyone who knows me knows the Lakers are right there with the things I love the most in the entire world, and the base of that was built on watching Kobe play.
100% Kobe.
Magic was better, played smarter basketball and on a consistent basis. His stats and accolades show a gap between the two players. Most people who say Kobe was better never saw Magic play, so they don’t really know. But it’s fine, I like to celebrate both and I push back on unearned disrespect against either guy.
@@Taj_Rahine That’s a helluva point!
So many all time great Lakers you could pick a few and feel confident about your selection. In my opinion it’s Magic all day every single time. To me… Magic is the Lakers. Showtime!!
Tie between Magic, Kareem, and West. The only reason Kobe and Shaq even wanted to play in LA was to step into the glory that they created. There is a Rushmore in LA, and the top tier is those three. Everyone else is a tourist. I also don't appreciate how Kobe drove out Shaq and how Kobe showed absolutely horrible character and judgement in Colorado with that young woman. I don't even know how that warrants a statue. SOMETHING stupid happened in that room, and Kobe is the responsible party, whatever went down. He abused his status as a famous athlete. So when you ask about the "greatest", character has to come into play, and I don't mean the fabricated persona called "the Mamba."
Magic is my favorite player of all time.. but that young boy KB was a different animal. The level of competition they faced and the fact that kobe won with way less talent. Is the xfactor
Less talent? They were stacked.
@@loodakris5928 who was stacked? Kobe's Lakers?
@@toddjones2245 Yeah compared to the league. His teammates werent that bad.
@loodakris5928 compared to the league?;bruh tell me the entire career resume of every single teammate kobe played with from 05-06 to 09-10 combined.. then compare those resumes to other teams players during that time. I'll help you a little bit. Just ignore kobe's entire bench.
@@toddjones2245 he won with pau gasol - hall of fame, lamar odom was really good, ron artest saved him in game 7, andrew bynum was one of the better centers in the league, ron harper was a championship player. Your statement said when they won. He had talent.
Kobe no question
So about Cardi B, you are right in saying she has only made one studio album and I think she has a few mixtapes but I don't think its fair to say that she's about everything else more than the music. She hopped on a lot of features because she's about the music. She has a bunch of singles, but I speculate that there are things going on that is holding her up in completing an album. Although she started out in reality tv, music is her thing (in my opinion). And as a female artist in these times, she's doing well despite not dropping studio albums. As a fan, I am really only a fan of her music lol. Whatever else she is doing is obsolete to me. Also, yes. I am a music snob and I like what I like. It takes so much for me to tap in to new music.
@@autumnthearies Thank you for clarifying that. I couldn’t remember if she had a second album. And I couldn’t verify it during the pod. I think we’re definitely snobs. We like what we like! LoL

Kendricks most famous song is a song about Drake. He's stuck.

Jay v Nas was close as can be. Lots of ppl choose either in that battle. Drake, however, was humiliated and destroyed. He needs to let it go and move on.
@@mindbully 1000%
Nah bruh, Ether put Jay in a coffin in that beef, he got completely torched and scorched.
@@hoaxialcable 💯
@@hoaxialcable You don’t believe that. No one listening to both Takeover and Ether would conclude that unless they’re being biased. Btw, what was Nas’ response to Blueprint 2?
@mindbully I don't just believe it, it's pretty much unanimous, except for those on Jay's jock. And Nas didn't need to answer BP2.0 because you don't need to kill someone twice when you really kill them. Just like KDot don't need to answer BBL's last drop.
Every rapper should take notes from Jay. A career glance is the only proof you need.
Kendrick has no reason to piece it up lol
With the Jay and Nas beef half the people felt like Jay won. When they did the pole it was like 52 to 48 Nas way. With this it's a land slide. That's what's different. This is more like 50 and Ja Rule. Drake done.
What? Nobody thought Jay won. He got “ethered”
@@therealsyxx I think you’re on to something. This was "industry vs culture". But I don’t know if it’s over for Drake. He’s a pop icon. I don’t think this ends his career. But if those allegations are found to be true…it could be over for him. I think time will tell.
@@BEZ313 Right. "Ether’d" has become a word. LoL

Drake "done" but still the most streamed artist for every month this year (including months during the beef and post beef). I disagree with you. Most people believed Nas won the beef. To the point where "ETHERED" became a slang that people still use to this day.
Jay and drake are culture vultures
@@igonz22 I hear you. I’m curious…when do you think Jay became one…or do you think he’s always been one. I ask because I hear that now more than ever
@@twelvekyle probably since the roc la familia album, that were he started viewing hip hop as a tool to exploit money out of his fans.
@@igonz22 That’s fair! I’m not mad at that. I’ve seen a lot of folks looking at Jay sideways since he’s partnered with the NFL.
I guess I'm a HOVenger... I believe he won. When I was younger I thought Nas won! Hands down. As I got older and started to actually digest Jay's blueprint and Blueprint 2... I actually changed my mind. I'm not mad at anyone saying Nas won tho, because in Hip Hop that's the general consensus.
