On this channel, I mainly make anime and game piano covers (and a lot of Joe Hisaishi), and sometimes I make original music and tutorials. I upload videos whenever I find the motivation and time, which hasn't been a lot this past year. Also, I'm a very socially anxious person so if I don't reply to every comment it may be because I don't know what to say.
About me:
My name is Maria and I'm a self-taught pianist who's been learning piano for about 6 years. Ever since I was little I had a keyboard, which I would sometimes play and make my own songs. I only started to take it more seriously in 2017, which is when I finally got a new piano with a pedal. 2017 also happens to be the year when I started getting into anime and I fell in love with anime music. Since late 2017, my progress drastically improved within the next few years to where I am now.

Don't Speak Her Name - Fire Emblem Awakening | Piano Cover
This was the other piece I recorded for my A level performance. It was really fun to play and sounded great with the keys and sounds of the Yamaha. The pedal was really clicky though so that's kind of annoying. I made a few mistakes but this was my first and only take for the performance. I hope one day I'll be able to learn the full piece since this is a shorter version because it had to fit in the exam and also because I found later parts too difficult.

How long did it take for you to learn this song? I tried to learn it but it was too difficult-
I don't remember a specific time frame since it was a long time ago now but I don't think it took me more than a couple of days. I tend to be able to pick up songs quite easily that have familiar patterns to other songs I've played.

It's the Kawai kdp 90. I don't think it's still available to buy but from briefly searching, there's the Kawai kdp 120 which seems to be the newest version of it.

@@jessymessybessysessy6964 I can understand that. My old keyboard didn't have any speakers so I had to use an amp that was always buzzing. But once I upgraded my piano, I became much more motivated to play it. Although I haven't played in a while since I've been too busy. Anyway, upgrading your piano really does help you improve.
