That is strange indeed. I like Japan because of geisha's. I collect dolls and old toys like castles, little doll houses, fairies stuff like that and I like Japanese dolls like geisha dolls I have them to. But I think the culture is very different maybe because it is an island and they have a lot of own traditions from the past. And I think all foreigners are considered strange there. Correction Joost is not an artist, he is his own real masterpiece :) So many hidden gems in the lyrics and the video, to many I would forget or even have noticed thus far. I'm Dutch and did not know of Joost before he dropped his video Europapa at Lubach. Joost grabbed me by my throat and I had to know more about him, now Im almost 59 and cannot Gabber/ Hakken but he does things that no other could. He makes me wanna move, think, laugh and cry all in just a few minutes of time. Im so proud of Joost. In Joost I trust. Ubuntu ❤(Xhosa for "We are all as one"")

definitely was waiting for this reaction!! the music video is definitely a direct “attack” at the EBU for disqualifying him, as shown with the start of the video when he is in “eurovision mode” and then all of a sudden he gets shot down by the ebu. i love the symbolism in the video, like when hes in the jail and the EBU is dancing around his europapa costume on fire- theres a lot of onions in the video because there is an interview of joost saying that when he was younger, he would fake sick so his parents would put an onion by his bed, and then he would eat the onion. now the onion is almost a symbol for his parents. on the walls of the jail “DONT EAT THE ONION” is written because in the interview he goes “JOOOOOOST! DONT EAT THE ONION!” :) would love to see more joost reactions from you!!!
