Salute to these elders ,community leaders, teachers and Research scholars ( especially youths of Nah Tagin) featured in the documentary for their resilience in documenting their knowledge systems. Smaller indigenous communities are most liberal ,secular and broad minded in embracing all religions. For example, They have embraced buddhism due to historical reasons, embraced Christianity too but continue practicing their age old cultural practices in evolved form . We are looking forward to more research works from them. Large section of Arunachalees are so unaware of their own rich cultural heritage of the state. Dont get disheartened by negative and ignorant comments. This documentary is heartfelt and thoroughly researched. Well done team DDK, Arunprabha. Yes maybe subtitles will help the larger section who are not well versed with Hindi spoken in Arunachal Pradesh.

To the aunty representing the Nah tribes, are you jealous of the growth of Christianity, or do you have a problem with people living a good life through faith in Christ? Or is your concern about people becoming cruel in your place after accepting Christ? This is my genuine question to you, madam. We Christians follow the path Jesus taught; His teachings are all about living a life of love, helping each other in need, walking in righteousness, having faith in God, and acting with good intentions. You talk about Christians as s challenge and speak of the Lamas. Well, we don’t need Lamas-Lamas, whom we consider to have migrated from Tibet. I have also heard that the Nah tribes are believed to have migrated from Tibet. So, there should be no criticism of other religions. Becoming a Christian and following the path Jesus taught is an individual's complete freedom. Primarily, we Christians are the sole inhabitants of Arunachal Pradesh, and we deeply understand our ancestral faiths, rituals, and cultures. We abide by our culture and traditions while walking in the path Christ himself taught to the entire human race. We don’t believe in divide-and-rule policies, nor do we believe in criticizing other religions. Our ancestral practices were rooted in animism, and I urge everyone to respect and protect nature as a gift from God for our survival. True animism should not lead to the destruction of the natural world but rather its preservation. To my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, no matter how people may hate you for accepting Jesus into your life, always be proud to have Christ as your teacher and guide. However, let us not forget our cultural and traditional practices. At the same time, we must acknowledge that life evolves. Let us avoid evil practices rooted in our ancestral faiths and rituals-just as the Hindu religion eliminated the sati system after realizing its cruelty.

I visited Gelling on 13th November 2024. Thanks for this video. I am recalling my time now. Hoping that these places will draw attention of tourists who love nature, purity and peace. Yingkiong-Tuting road construction is going on these days and I am sure that after complition of the road, people will rush towards this direction. And of course, those who love to travel off-road, must visit now.
