@@robrowe5533 thanks!!! Found it on a roof all rusted up 🤣
@Matrix13533 I've had one of those for like 15 years fuckin love it lol
Would it have been easier to remove the compressor out the way or take the top to replace the valve? Which probably would have required a second hand
@@mrgreen9086 may have been easier or about the same. I don’t like removing compressors if I don’t have to. BUT…wouldn’t be wrong if you did.
What a bad procedure when removing the connection card very bad electrician
I’m assuming you mean terminal board. If you were there you would have done the same. Also…I’m not an electrician lol 😇😇😇
In what state do you get by with a flex line and thread protectors? Jc
In Texas. All legal here as long as the flex connects outside of the unit.
Good ol Carrier, 😅. don’t forget the front retaining plates when ordering that heat exchanger.
Yes! I have an amazing Carrier parts guy. He always takes care of those things.
Thank you 😎 🤟
Thank you so much for this step by step video God Bless 😇
Thank you for watching!!!
Taking an Hvac class as we speak. So this was very interesting and informative. Cool job I think.
Glad I could help! You’ll do great in your HVAC class!
Ain’t got no gas in it
what had me laughing was the " aint got no gasss." XD
You need a golf cart for that roof.
🤣🤣🤣 definitely getting my steps in!
Hi bro, we are looking for collaborators for our new taillights. Are you interested in testing them out?
Great video! Thank you so much!
1K you owe us a tear down and I think you need a waaaaayyyyy bigger adjustable instead of the right sized spanner
Yup! You couldn’t be more right!!! Thanks for holding me accountable! It’ll be next!
Instantly knew it was the econimizer. But i knew u knew it too. Did all that extra work for video content. Good job
in this situation. u can u use duct butter on the weather strip. help it slide
Curious? Why are you not flowing nitrogen? Thanks for the videos, learned a lot from you.
Good question! I simply don’t feel it is always necessary to flow nitrogen. I know a lot of people will bash me for that comment lol. But like I always say…”you do you!” 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 Thank you! Good to hear that I’m teaching!
The little ginger boy in the back. Our country is in trouble.
Congratulations 🎉
Thanks for letting us know and posting the video when it’s done. We can’t wait ❤
Congratulations on 1k and of course getting Married
@@ChingusTheOneAndOnly thank you!!! 1K AND getting married in the same day!!!
go away pain hahah
deuces ✌
Congrats on your marriage!
Thank you!!!
crank case heater???
You jumped the gun! I got it in lol. Just an idiot and didn’t do it when I should have. 🤦🏽♂️
Cool that you leave your mistakes in the videos. Don’t see much of that; everyone else pretending every job they do is perfect.
@ thank you! I’m DEFINITELY not perfect! Mistakes are important! It’s how we learn.
How much do you make?
@@ABOOGIE06 from UA-cam? Nothing lol. If you’re looking at getting in the industry/trade you can expect to start at $20-$25/hr. Your money past that is entirely up to you. I’ve known guy and gals that make $200k a year and some making $60-$80k a year.
I'm surprised you would want 95 everyday when you work on rooftops. I'm sure a 60 degree day can feel like a 95 degree day once you get to working up there.
True…I just love the heat. Not just normal heat…but the HOT heat lol.
Milwaukee probably would have fit inside of the bag. LOL😂
😂😂
I wasn’t carrying a bag. Just had it on my belt. 😒
Those compressors come right out of the Copeland compressor factory and they are the biggest pieces of crap.A lot of times they need check vales in both the discharge line and the suction line for some reason. I recommend when ever building a Thermostatic expansion valve ( yes no using acronyms because they are not TXVs) use oil on the threads and the external equalizer line is for the pressure drop through the evaporator coil. Another good video thanks. it's
Agree with the oil 100%!
Good policy replacing the safeties and ignition your name is on the unit now Make it shine! You must be near DFW
Thank you! And yes…I’m in the DFW! 💪🏽
I would suspect the gas valve wasn't adjusted by flow/usage rate but just with a monometer. I've seen a lot of those carriers fail along the seam weld.
Never thought about that!!!
Carriers are easy, trane presidents are easy too, can knock one of those out in about and hour/hour and a half
you don't need to remove that back nut on the support rod, exchanger will come out with just the front nut removed
Yup! Didn’t think about that! I could have just swung it around. 🤦🏽♂️
Well maybe they thought that the drain was plugged and on the positive side of the blower so they drilled holes to let it drain. Who knows. Next time when you change the heat exchanger try some spray glue on the gasket, just a little will do. Good video
Nothing new after two is my motto!
33 is the superior tape, just saying
🤣🤣🤣
Would have cleaned it up before reinstalling
@@StevenAbolt cleaned what up? Everything was pretty clean. 👀
@@Matrix13533 you kidding? The blades didn’t look clean to me!!
@@StevenAboltif they were dirty enough to cause an airflow issue then I would have cleaned them. Otherwise…I think it’s good. It’ll take years for them to get that bad.
Come one people sub to this gentleman!
You’re awesome! Thank you!!!
@@ChingusTheOneAndOnly and you wandering why so little subs?
Only worked on one of those ECO blue motors. If I remember correctly I think the motor module feeds the DC volts the board then uses to send a signal back to the motor.
Dude!!! That actually makes perfect sense! There is no inverter on the board!
But how much money do those ECMs really save especially in Texas where the ACs are usually in full send And like you said when they fail?$$$😭 Besides why can't they use multi speed PSC if a furnace can kick down to low speed for heat I have to believe a capacity based control is possible and probably cheaper
Preach on brother!!!! My sentiments EXACTLY!!!
Is that an outdoor disconnect?
Yup!
It’s Canadian. I feel for ya. Everything is metric. I happen to have 2 of them. Both are running 5K if you’re interested. 1 has a rebuilt engine with less than 2 hours on it.
I’ll take you up on that if I ever make any money on here!!!
You are my hero! Hopefully next time no repairs will be required!

Good video buddy
Back in the day, I serviced without cordless drivers and hand wrenched everything. That is why I got carpal in my hands after 40 years of service. Cordless tools were a game changer.
those holes are for your gauge hoses. very useful (-:
The fact that you were too lazy to buy a hose extension for $20 and wait to properly turn off the unit speaks volumes to your character.
It was 7pm. On July 3rd, we are coming back, and it was at set temp. No need to extend the day an hour. Soooo….character = ✅ logic = ✅
@@Matrix13533 or you could have gotten it taken care properly that night and slept in an extra hour or two today.
Found a nest of hornets when I was two stories up removing old soffit. One of those suckers went right for my face and got me on the nose. Felt like a grown man punched me. Definitely a hazard.
They hit hard don’t they?!
