wow im insanely confused but happy, dayz can be ran at 240 fps on a 3050 and my pc is bottlnecked like crazy with a i7 2600 rtx 3050 and i now know i can run dayz and the lowest settings with comfort :)

can you also do valorant or fortnite? I have a 4070 and a ryzen 7 9700x as well and it would help. If valorant, please do it in a normal game because deathmatches don't show the true performance because it always gets about 30% more fps.

9700x is so much better than people were sayin.. I have one paired with 4070 ti super... it's such good performance with tweaked memory timings!

The difference is: you can swap out that aging 6700xt for more modern card and get far more performance. Right now. You don't have to wait for a whole new console to release. Also, games for the console platforms are optimised to run on that specific platform. Usually at 30-60fps. PC can run at 144fps 4k (example) but are less optimized so require more raw performance to achieve it. Then there's ray tracing. PC can handle ray tracing much better than console at higher resolutions. Recently even path tracing. The downside is the upfront cost of a PC being higher and the lack of exclusives (although this is changing). But you only pay that upfront cost one time while upgrading each component one at a time. The software costs are also lower on PC.

I just purchased a series x from gamestop because i have a series s in dev mode that runs all my emulators and i wanna keep it that way. So now, all of my retail games catalog is going to be played on my new series x. Both offline for good. I hate updates on consoles.

Comparing consoles to PCs is like comparing apples to oranges. PCs are upgradable. You don’t have to throw out the whole system if you want something new example if you’re lagging behind in terms of a PC all you need to do is just upgrade your graphics card and potentially your power supply however, if you want better graphics performance on an Xbox just have to buy a newer one another thing to consider is that a PC it is a lot easier to access the open Web on like an Xbox, which is solely for gaming Obviously Xbox have stuff like streaming, but it’s a lot easier to do that on a PC.

the switch is underpowered, but not nearly as weak as people think. Heck, No Man's Sky runs OK even with the new graphics update that just dropped.
