Not at all! However, by integrating Fibafuse to the vinyl bead, it turns a staple and glue product into a "mud on" product. That allows for a MUCH longer positioning time when working with the material!

@@DRRDrywallRepairdo you have any other magic corner bead videos? I’m a little nervous to get started. And I don’t think mine has the tape on the back side like yours?!? So after you staple and your adhesive dries you out fibafuse tape in 1st coat of mud to ensure smoother transition?

LOL! In retrospect, 2 guys COULD legitimately pull the trim, demo the wall, rehang, tape, coat, texture in about 3.5 hours, +/-. This is a high visibility area, with a demanding texture profile; a patch was the right option here. The "sprinkling" is accomplished via a Graco FastFinish Air Compressor, paired w/ a Marshall's Sharpshooter 2.0 hopper. Thank you for interacting w/ us!!!

*Took them out, we sure did. Replaced w/ a tube of PL 3x , and 1.5" SPAX in the face. Really hope NOBODY ever has to rip them apart. Because they'll be pulling wood fibers at that point.

Yes! We prefer many times to seat the tape w/ a corner knife, and then set it and coat w/ a 6" knife.

When? Whenever feasible! Typically w/ a random orbital sander, attached to dust collection. Debridment of the sheetrock's overburdening texture allows for a seamless transition of new material to old.
