@@kathiguthrie703 I would definitely say over the years the weather here has changed a lot. Our summers used to be hotter however I feel like summer start later now and not only that but winter is not really winter anymore. It’s really strange. All the temperatures have changed over the years.

@50statesUSA7 There is a study that vegan dog food is better for dogs' health compared to meat based or mixed food, dated 2022. I studied history, not animal health. So I don’t know if the study makes any sense. All I can say is that feeding your dog with veggies and stuff matches with what dogs ate for many thousands of years. Since meat was always expensive, even nobles wouldn't have fed their dog a meat heavy diet. (A misture would be likely) However, there also might be a difference between what is good for a husky compared to a poodle. The difference between cat's and dogs' evolution is that cats more or less provided for themselves. Hunting mice and stuff. Their digestive system did not grow accustomed to veggies, which is why they still need meat. But dogs were even trained to hunt and not eat and were fed by whatever humans left them. The typical bone was one part of a dogs diet, but they ate more veggies and grains. At least in europe. If I had a dog, I would feed a mixture just to be safe or do more research.

I guess the dog food industry can make more money with a meat based diet 🤷‍♀️
