I followed through every step till Fastboot D screen.. but my computer stopped recognizing the device after fastboot D. The terminal is eternally waiting for a device. devmgr is also not recognizing the device (it instead shows a ton of additional devices like modem, bluetooth peripheral devices SMS/MMS etc. Can you please help here?

I kept failing at step 4, it wouldn't reboot. After step 3 when it boots up, go into settings and turn on developer mode. After that it finally worked.

hello, I have a problem, after the "adb reboot bootloader" command, the phone turns off and enters fastboot mode, but then I can't do anything in the adb console because the phone goes into charging mode and disconnects phone with laptop, is there a way to bypass this? what cable do you use only for data transfer? I'm on oxygen 12 now
