I have linked the TAB for the arpeggios in each shape below. Enjoy! drive.google.com/file/d/14XkdEqlHGHCrD4g4FPmss1wSgV7ykjgg/view?usp=drive_link

Sometimes the UA-cam recommendations are gold. I am enjoying your teaching style very much and will definitely stay tuned. The Archspire shirt is the cherry on top ;)

Thank u
My pleasure!
Excellent job! Great to see this song get some love. Anthrax and The Dark Tower are always a perfect combination.
Thanks so much mate!! Haha can’t go wrong with that!
That's almost all I know about the music theory😢 Cant way to see more lessons❤
Epic lesson nuts
Nice vid!
Very nice playing and I notice you are using the Broderick pick, was that an easy transition to make from traditional provided you used one? Also, I have two Jackson Soloists I love to shreds and am thinking about getting the seven string. Which model are you using? Thanks in advance to my inquisition lol.
Thanks mate appreciate it! I used the Broderick pick clip for about 5 years coming from a classical guitar background it felt most natural to me than a pick! Since then however I have transitioned to a regular guitar pick as I found I have more flexibility and angle thus control without the clip… the clip has its advantages of course being able to open the hand for multi finger tapping and traditional finger style but I wasn’t using it for those purposes enough. That one there is a Jeff Loomis SL7 signature model. Check out the Keith Merrow signature 7’s by schecter that’s next on my list!
@@EclecticMusicInstitute Thanks for the response. I have always used tradtional picks and cup it when I need free my fingers for tapping or picking. All my Jacksons and Charvels are 6 string. That Jackson of yours is should complete my needs. I haven't played 7 string in a few years. I was always reluctant to make that leap so many years ago. And at that point I had the Loomis vampire Schecter. I moved on from them being the neck profile being so thick other than that though seriously fun and beautiful guitar. Keep up the good work! ;We all know the amount of work those runs involve; Damn near years before I had it up to speed. It's a fun run though once you have it. Peace
Still have no idea what an interval is.
The distance between two notes is the definition of an interval. The names given to those distances are as follows. C-C# is a minor second C-D is a major second C-D# is a minor third C-E is a major third C-F is a perfect 4th C-F# is a diminished 5th C-G is a perfect 5th and so on…
Great lesson vid!
Looks like the discontinued Jeff Loomis Schecter.
Good eyes! 👀
@@EclecticMusicInstitute wanted one back in the day.
Great lesson. A lapel mic would really increase your sound quality
Thanks so much! Think it might be time to upgrade the audio/video gear. Stay tuned 😁
Tambien se puede emprzar golpeando hacia arriba.El cruze se hace mas interesante.
Certainly can!
Thanks for the tutorial. Helps me visualize the fretboard a bit better, as that's something I've neglected to incorporate in my basic guitar knowledge.
My pleasure! Definitely an important skill, glad I could help!
This is really good, good video length too…you explain it well. If you added a closer shot of the fretboard this would be next level.
Thanks very much! Great feedback, much appreciated!
I love tapping
This is very helpful!... I've seen other videos about finding and memorizing a (root) note all over the fretboard, but I think I haven't seen the idea about practicing (root) note and any interval as you've explained... it'll be cool if you publish more videos about fretboard memorization, thanks!
Thankyou!! I will post a few more videos surround fretboard knowledge over the coming weeks!
saving this for later, no idea whern to use it, since I usually play much calmer, but its good to step out from my comfort zone
Im saving this
Top teaching as always
Much appreciated
Sad sign of the times. Too many short cuts these days.
100 percent. Instant gratification is monstering most art forms!
You make it look too easy! Great lesson again.
Very clear explanation, thank you
You are welcome!
Man you made it very simple and easy to understand. I've been playing for almost 2 decades, my teacher made me memorize every position of every chord and scale/arpeggio but never understood how to glue everything together
Thanks so much mate! I am glad this vid was able to clear that up for you. You'll be a wizard now with all those shapes already memorized!
'Promo SM' 😢
This is amazing. Clear and straight to the point. Thank you

Just like Jeff!!!
Thanks so much! Best compliment I could receive! ❤😅
Nice one! Always clear instruction. Love it.
👌🤘😎
Love this man. Need to hear more of this sort of thing.
Thanks mate!
i have watched a lot of videos about picking exercises and the tips you give here have helped me immensely. simple but effective. subscription and like and i am going to go through all your lessons. thanks donovan!
Thanks very much Marco! I’m glad this video could provide some useful info for you!
oi bruv, where u from?
Australia mate! 🇦🇺
Wow such a good lesson !! Thank you
You're very welcome! 🎸
You need to do a blindfold pick-drop challenge. Someone drops picks in front of you and you’ve gotta guess the brand, material, shape and thickness. The real challenge is still having all the picks at the end of the challenge.
Great idea Ash! I think I would go well on material. Brand and thickness would be a challenge but a fun experiment for sure! 15% return rate on the dropped picks perhaps? 🤔 🤣
So much good info on this channel!

Jon Bjork calls this planting
Yep, good term to go by! Left/right hand planting comes from classical guitar technique. Very much the same concept to planting with a pick 🥳
Too good❤❤❤
Any suggestions for fast downstroke?
Sure do mate, stay tuned I’ll do a video this week on down picking for ya! 🤘🎸
