The Cincinnati Bengals lost in dramatic fashion yesterday to the Baltimore Ravens. The old nickname for the team was the "Bungles" because they used to lose a lot of close games. I think that nickname will become popular again because they've lost 4 very close and winnable games due to their mistakes. Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson had incredible performances and it was one of the most exciting games of the year so far. That ending was disappointing for fans of the Bengals, though. In addition to the new expansive elephant habitat, the Cincinnati Zoo is playing a leadership role in developing and implementing the AZA SAFE Asian Elephant program. This project is a conservation initiative between associated AZA facilities and partner organizations to ensure the Asian elephant’s survival as a species. Funds raised from Cincinnati Zoo’s behind-the-scenes elephant tours supports the International Elephant Foundation(IEF). In Sumatra, elephants and people often come into conflict when elephants wander into human settlements. These elephants are often relocated to a Sumatran Elephant Conservation Center. Support from the Zoo through the IEF provides supplies and training to ensure that the elephants are cared for properly.

Elephants are herd animals who roam miles each day in search of food and water. To keep a herd like this living on what could be referred to as a postage stamp will likely lead to zoochosis. Cruel practice lead by profit. Boycott zoos, free Lucy.

Despite the rain, I arrived at the zoo for the 9 am early entry for members and I was blown away by the new area! The elephants seemed to really enjoy the new space and were more active than I've ever seen them before. They were constantly moving and exploring the space. Watch this video to see all of the areas to observe the elephants in their new habitat.

Zoo propaganda. Elephants do NOT belong in zoos. These majestical & highly intelligent animals which can live to 60 years should not be confined to a zoo!

The Cincinnati Zoo opened its brand-new Elephant Trek area for a member only preview and I was there as soon as they opened, despite the rain. I'm so glad I went. Sorry but Disney is a no go for us now. It had been a BIG dream of mine to go. Finally saved up for YEARS to take my kids. It was FANTASTIC. But now its magic is gone. Confusing our poor grandchildren with bearded princesses and endless woke stuff being pushed in our faces. Walt would be ashamed. Makes me sad and sickened.

Did you like this attraction? Are you sad to see it go? Disney is permanently closing Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy on October 7, 2024. I really enjoyed this show but apparently it wasn’t as popular as Disney had hoped. It’s a shame that the great animatronic is going to go away but maybe they will repurpose it for the new Cars Land that is coming to Magic Kingdom.

That's nothing new.Those have been around for at least ten years

We recently stayed at Regal Oaks Resort in Kissimmee, Florida and we saved at least $2600 in comparison to comparable Disney 2-bedroom resort rooms. With the money saved we were able to rent a car (got a Toyota Camry for less than $400!) and drive ourselves to the parks, stores, even Daytona and Orange City, FL at times of our own choosing. Even though I mention the Disney Resorts specifically in this video, the savings are the same if you compare what we paid for this place against the Universal Studios Resorts.

Make sure you thank the hawks! Snakes are a favorite meal for Red Tailed Hawks when squirrels aren't as abundant. It can be a tricky catch when the snake is squirming around, but I'm sure the hawk will catch it eventually.

A mated pair of Red-Tailed Hawks have nested in my backyard. In this video, these beautiful hawks are filmed flying and hunting. There's lots of screeching and the birds looking majestic at the same time! You'll see the hawks in trees, on fences, on power poles, the roof of my house and my neighbor's house, and even on the ground. I hope to continue to film them this season. A pair of red tail hawks have made our backyard their home. One Hawk perched itself on our roof and communicated with the other while it was hunting. They love to hunt the lizards, squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks You can see the 2nd hawk flying in the distance at the end of this video.
