We have an antique brick floor for our great room, original from the late 18th century in our 5400sqft home. Luckily only about 600sqft is brick, the rest is real oak floors throughout, except for the antique hand hewn lumber floors adjacent to the great room.

Is it a mop...? I think it more like a mower... who wants to use this heavy giant thing to do cleaning. the nature of cleaning is help you get a clean and comfortable environment, and it doesn't work at all as well as the tradition mop. especially I use the tsmine spin mop and it's the top class of cleaning tools, so I think it's better to use the simple, light and practical one.

Wow. Thank you. In the 30 years I’ve owned my 60-year-old oak hardwood floor home, I’ve NEVER refinished my hardwood floors. All the kids, pets, people in stilettos and ski boots, dragged furniture gouges, my floors are a history book unto themselves. I think the prior owner did re-sand and refinish, though, right before selling to me. So under my care, they got pretty beat up and dirty, and lost any and all luster. Now elderly and physically less capable than I was, I finally got a two-person housekeeping service to come in to do a two-day deep cleaning and then biweekly maintenance. They’ve been incredible, and have left every corner of my home sparkling each time. But today when they finished, the team lead showed me what she’d been using that made my old oak floors look so good and richly hued. It was Quick Shine hardwood floor luster. I own a lot of antique furniture, and have always used Old English to care for them, never wax products or things like Pledge that cause buildup. So my Spidey (sp) sense went up and I surfed to see what the real wood experts had to say on Quick Shine luster. Sure enough, your informative channel came up. After watching this episode, I definitely don’t want my housekeepers to use the product anymore, but still want the beautiful ‘finish’ the product brings out. What recourse do I have short of totally professionally re-sanding and refinishing/resealing my floors?

Damn that was amazing! Can't wait until I can be that good. I'm wanting to see if I can make this happen with just a carpet extractor, small electric pressure washer, and a tile and grout spinner. My extractor only has 50psi and a new one with more than 50psi would cost well over 1k.
