Lol you should totally hit the next customer with this sales pitch. Gotta substitute Annie Green springs for maybe Boones Farm but still, good schtick!
El Paso BBQ and the gas station are both on Ventura, supposedly there were a lot of locations on Ventura. There's a Michael's on Ventura in Encino, and it looks like it could have been the one in the movie (large parking lot); right next to the Liquor World.
prop in scene fail. On glass entry door,Marlboro has a sign for miles. That campaign didnt start until early 80's. This movie is based early/mid 70's. Cool easter egg
he's not a hippie. he's a metalhead stoner (the character he's playing anyway). I don't know the actor from anything else, but his performance as Joe in this movie was great, everybody in the film was.
Taylor was great
Some people think it's better then dazed and confused. I disagree
Is that disco Stu?
I love this movie. It's been too long since I've seen it
Every time I hear this song, I think of this scene. Taylor was a legend!

I work at a liquor store and you have no idea how hilarious this scene is to me! 🤣
Lol you should totally hit the next customer with this sales pitch. Gotta substitute Annie Green springs for maybe Boones Farm but still, good schtick!
LOL, it's Milo from The Last Boy Scout.
“This fucking guy makes 2.75 an hour” 😭😭
Disco Stew was about the style and sale, until the cops walked in. 😂
Man. I forgot Taylor Negron was in this. I loved him so hard.
Why cut it off before the cop said he used to be called Dixie cup Dean?

There's another scene in the beginning of the film where Crump is hitchhiking, the cars in that scene are 90s cars.. Smh
Time frame is ‘76-‘77. Don’t fear the Reaper came out in ‘76 and that’s the feature song in the movie.
@@qwesence1 it takes place in the seventies or early 80’s having (according to the story) attended the Blue Oyster Cult laser show…
Taylor played the liquor store clerk in "rivers edge" also lmao & the pizza guy in "fast times..." and was in Bio-dome dam and "the stoned age" sickk
“Shaaaaake it man. It’ll make’em melt. Like a popsicle.......I need some ID.”

he's not a hippie. he's a metalhead stoner (the character he's playing anyway). I don't know the actor from anything else, but his performance as Joe in this movie was great, everybody in the film was.
His character is supposed to be like that it's not his acting
@@LetsGoMetsGo33 He played a tiny role as a stoner in the movie Point Break.
@@nzmarco I think he was one of the stoners in "Dont Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" too! He only plays a stoner I guess
