2024 Guam Trip- Chapter 6: Fish Eye Marine Park
Переглядів 572 місяці тому
We spent a day at Fish Eye to swim around and enjoy one of Guam's best areas to observe aquatic wildlife. This protected refuge is home to a beautiful ecosystem and offers breath taking scenery from the sky and under water. Incoming storms cut the day short, so we stopped in to check out how different the McDonald's menu is from what we're used to.
2024 Guam Trip- Chapter 5: A Tour of the Island

Instead of spending all of our time at the mall or other shopping areas, it was extremely important for us to show the girls a different side of the island. We took a day to visit most of what the southern end of Guam has to offer.
2024 Guam Trip- Chapter 4: Guam Liberation Parade
Переглядів 2023 місяці тому
Every year, the Guam Liberation is a huge deal on the island. It was great for the family to check out the festivities and be a part of it all for the 80th Anniversary. These clips don't even scratch the surface of everything going on out there.
2024 Guam Trip- Chapter 3: SURPRISE!!! Renewing Our Wedding Vows
Переглядів 993 місяці тому
For over a year we talked about wanting to do something really special for our 10th wedding anniversary. As the planning for our Guam trip went on, I started to think about how perfect it would be to renew our vows. I reached out to sister Bernice of The Ark Ministries on Guam and began putting the surprise together. Many thanks to Bernice and Brian for helping to make this happen. Check them o...
2024 Guam Trip- Chapter 2: The Adventures Begin
Переглядів 1374 місяці тому
We woke up the first morning on Guam and knew we had to jump in the water. What better way to kick on the trip than swimming down south at the Inalåhan natural pool? Plus, we got to stop by the Chief Gadao statue. This was just a quick day as we got settled in. Much more to come...
2024 Guam Trip- Chapter 1: Flying Space-A
Переглядів 4324 місяці тому
In an effort to get to Guam, we took our first family trip flying Space-A. After tons of research & preparation, we made it in a fairly smooth fashion. There were some hiccups along the way such as dynamic flight plans and rental car issues, but it all worked out. Stay tuned for the rest of the trip.

*The content in this video is not an official reflection/presentation by the US Air Force.* Defenders from the 45th Security Forces Squadron showed out to tackle some combat skills training. These men and women (and 4-legged fighters) displayed some great energy, resiliency, and strength through it all. Shoutout to Darrin Tullis for the audio track!!

Right before the New Year of 2024 kicked in, we had the opportunity to perform over 2 days at the Black Bear Casino Resort near Minneapolis. Of course, it wasn't all about the show during the trip. These energetic performers made the most out of a crazy adventure.

Miter Cut Box for Matua's FURever Home
Переглядів 97Рік тому
Unfortunately we recently lost one of our dogs. Matua was an awesome Shih Tzu and made countless memories with our family over the last 10 years. This miter box was a nice experiment for me to try out and turned out beautifully. It will make a great forever home when we get his remains back.

We were all so excited to put this event together for the family to celebrate. Amidst the chaos of preparation and setting up, there was still so much we did not capture. All in all, it was a great event shared by everyone.

@@mikevillacana193 I wish I could tell you. They were provided by the guy I made them for.
The singers are so good!
@@lunar7160 thank you!!
What ring are you using and where did you find? I can’t find anywhere
@@Punisherx40 I feel so bad… I been all over Google since you last night and I can’t find the website anymore. The last few that I made, I made my own rings. Harbor Freight has the steel roller and I get the rods from Lowes. Roll them into the diameter you want, and find a guy to tack weld them shut. If all else fails, I ran across a website that sells them in the UK.
@@grindandshine5148 what thickness for the rod?
@@Punisherx40 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch depending on the drum
@@grindandshine5148 for sure thanks. I’ll check that out then
@@Punisherx40 absolutely!!! Also, make sure its cold rolled steel rods that you get.
Mahalo palala i made one today
@@Kumutuna shoooooots!!! Glad I could help out. I’m finishing up a bass drum right now. Always work to be done, yeah!
I have no clue how to make one but i going try.
Solid Chelu! Next time you at Travis hmu 🤙🏼
Wow!that is nice - 😊
Solid bro! Glad you and the fam got to make it back home to the motherland. I miss our beautiful island of Guam.
Is there anything underneath inside pvc to close it with a board or is it just left open?
On my initial build, I didn’t put anything inside. Now I cut a piece of 1/4” plywood to fit in there and use epoxy to hold it in place about 5 inches from the bottom.
@@grindandshine5148does it make a difference with or without ply?
@@vaiona5156yes it does. The drum is not as loud.
Bro your man! Can you build me 2 and send them to New Zealand?
I never thought about shipping that far. I’d have to get a hold of more pipe
Beautiful job, I enjoyed your video
Nice video bro , keep up the good work! Maruru
I love it. I especially love how you can tell them Florida girls never been in snow. Lol
Right!!!!
What size wood plank did you use?
I believe it was 1”x3”
I have a sewing armoire with the table drop down , the armoire has two doors and the drop down table that has two small blocks of wood that hold the table closed with a gate latch and a handle on the table. This armoire is from the 70s and the table held a Bernina sewing machine attached to the table.
Nice, I want to make one like it.
Can i have the lyric too?
Sure thing. Send me an email to ReyesJC671@gmail.com

Bro, thanks to your video I have decided to encourage myself to do Faakete, it is a new step for me and my training, which is why I had some doubts. Do you have a way to contact you to be able to pay for your advice?
Bro, you do really amazing work. You do magic with wood.
ohh cool
Oh great, I took some time to watch your videos and you make excellent content. Thanks for continuing to upload videos.

Bro, do you remember me? I just uploaded a Short of how I do the drumsticks
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for checking it out!
I do them with the electric wood planer. Do you think it's a good idea? Sometimes I waste a lot of wood
The majority of people I see make sticks are using the planer and sanders. Nothing wrong with it at all. Only a handful of people are using a lathe, that I know of.
@@grindandshine5148 Thank you so much! I will try to do it with a lathe, the point is that I will try to make a home lathe with a drill
good job bro
Amazing thank you, I need a home office and my house is small, the living room is doing triple duty…bedroom, office, living room. tip for anyone else that doesn’t have power tools, they will cut it for you at lumberyard.

Hoooo cuz glad I found this, going try em, Mahalo Bruddah!!
Nice try on your opening beat at 2:40
Thanks!!! We all fell victim to the adrenaline and went way too fast through out the whole piece. I keep forgetting to shoot this vid over to Sefa.
What size pig?
I believe that one was 65 lbs. Its been a while.
Mahalo I really appreciate the video, question about the wood being used tho. In Hawai’i I’ve used many different hard woods including some select iron woods provided by the Aina however I currently live in Arizona, any suggestions on wut types of wood I can use out Hea or wea I can get wood to make my own Toere sticks.
I have to order all mine from different website like Bell Forest. If you google “exotic turning blanks” that’s where you can find different ones. Nothing like the homegrown iron wood though
Rajah dat, ok cool my braddah I will check um out. Mahalo
