I've road tripped Highway 1 twice. The section north of San Francisco easily surpasses the southern section in curves, traffic, and scenery.

This guy rides like a asshole I saw videos of him swerving through a group of bikers nearly hitting all of them, then when they told him it was dangerous he started freaking out hitting people, yelling he owns the road. Your lucky none of them laid you out if that was my group you would’ve caught one

I rode the Skyline/Saratoga stretch of highway 9 today. I'll return when the single-lane traffic light controlled stretch is history. The ambient temperature was too high to be stuck for endless minutes down there. City & county hasn't touched Skyline from that intersection to 92 in the three decades since I first rode it, and it doesn't look as though it won't happen. It's a bumpy ass jarring route.
