Founded in 2010 as Kulish Design Co., LLC, Steelike, Inc. has been producing and supplying Steelike® UHPC for construction projects commercially since 2014. Steelike® UHPC meets or exceeds performance specifications required by federal and state agencies for UHPC in highway infrastructure projects, and is all white, mixable in a ready-mix truck, and saves the user time, labor, and money.

Are you guys using UHPC as a finishing coat?
Based on the length, I assume this girder is for testing? I am a building structural engineer these days, so I don't know much about what is being done in highway construction. Are there any UHCP girders in service right now? I have only seen encasements of structural steel.
Hi, Robert You are correct, this is a FHWA prototype. The pre-caster heated it to 130f and it hit 14ksi in 7 hours. I will ask my network if any UHPC girders are actually on/under a bridge.
