Can you break down the lyrics in zhaaganashimowin (english)
Beautiful soulful
Can't here you
A very drawn out explanation
Thank you for sharing the making of your beautiful pin.
The pliers look like small duck bill pliers. 💗
Your video is way off you should reconsider redoing this video correctly just my humble opinion ❤
I cannot learn very well if you cannot see what is being taught
Can female only sing this?
No, anyone can sing this. This just so happens to be sung by women's hand drummers. It's all about intentions. I'm sure there are songs that are meant for women only but I have yet to come across one.
Miigwetch Audrey! Miigwetch, Laura!
Thank for your invitation and thank you for acknowledging all the ancestors my grandmother was a blood native and my children and grand children and great great great son my husband who is no longer with us physical his great great grandmother was full blood also and I want my children to know this about our ancestors and where the come from some don't believe that their brown indigenous ( black) but we know differently uncle's cousin nephews nieces requrdless what anyone say.

This is very well presented .. Great video.
Hello, The paper that is printed out, is it regular paper? What size of beads did you use :) What size needle and thread? Thanks so much
Yes you can use normal paper it’s just a way of tracing or u can just draw it on the pelon usually size 11 seed beads
I love drums . I have a mighty African Spirit drum . A Djembe. Inlove playing it .
Thank you so much!!!
Kitci migwetch ❤
I love the bear song
This is fantastic...I needed to start with this technique.
Great Job Maddie!
Thank you for sharing this song. 🌻💚🙌🤗
What temperature should the water be? Does it need to start out warm or cold?
Assuming you are asking about the water used to soak the rawhide (at around 1:31 in the video)... The water should be room temperature. Rawhide, like leather, does not like to be too hot or too cold. Boiling water specifically is bad for rawhide.
Hola , me gustaría saber el significado de este rezo 🙏😊✨
love this song, one of our lodge leaders sings it now and again, I was wondering if you had the lyrics to the "Eagle" song by Red Shadow, I love that song as well but am having difficulty finding a good audio quality to listen to and learn
thank you for all the lessons
Just found your video , What kind of leather is it please ? Thank you
That song was nicely done by TheLonelyBearClub too! Check it out everyone!
Thank you for sharing,… As i recently see eagle and small kid in my dreams could someone guide me where in Ontario i can join some indigenous ceremonies?

Much appreciated A!!! I appreciate you mentioned skirts are not a strict requirement. I never thought that our 2 spirited people are being accommodated and every woman skirt or not. I like your ways.
We try to stress this as well when we hold regional Full Moon Ceremonies in our ads as well. Some people don't practice wearing skirts, some do. Regardless, all are welcome at our events.
You moved around so much, in and out of the frame, blurred. Couldn't really see what you were doing.
🎉❤🎉Thank you for your wisdom🙏🏾💖
Wow, this is amazing! Thank you for sharing.
21:27 In other weaving, the yarns you are holding in your hand would be the warp, and the single yarn you pass crosswise through the shed would be the weft.
Chi miigwech, I watched just to be sure I was already doing it well as I am just coming back to the teachings, I understood and knew all that was described except the cloths. Are we supposed to be making tobacco ties or what is it for?
Depending on your local traditions, the cloth can be used to make offerings such as tobacco ties or it can be used to wrap and protect your sacred items that you are feasting. We recommend bringing some semah (tobacco) to an elder to ask more about your local traditions.
Miigwetch/Maarsii for sharing these teachings and Henry! ❤
In the video, you mentioned a link to the pamphlet, however I can not find where it is located. Can you please provide me the link to the pamphlet and also where I can purchase the turtle kit? Thank you in advance!
Where can I purchase these medicine kits?
