I just received mine today from Amazon - paid around $150. I think it’s a great looking watch, and you’re right about the comfort. Some reviews complain about the readability, but I have no issue. My usual daily driver is an F1 Tag Chronograph, which might not change, but this will definitely be placed in heavy rotation. Great review and video.

Looks like your the kind of persona who likes to wear your watch either on or past the wrist bone bump. If you were to wear it 1/2 an inch farther up your arm, the crown and such would likely not interfere with your hand movement. Of course, wear one wears a watch is a personal thing, so indeed it may not be a good fit for you. I'm hoping my 8" wrist will be a good match, as I want get one of these this year. I never cared for this watch in the past due to seeing the Ceramic online, after owning the 41 Date for a year I got rid of it and got an Explorer 42 Polar. The 5 digits are perfection, a work of art your watch is stunning! I’m looking to add a similar reference to my small 2 watch collection other being a 126300 Azzuro on Jubilee in the future. Subs have become pretentious watches but this serial is such a gem, from an era of Rolexes being made for professionals and hard working middle class looking for a one do it all watch. Great video!

Instead of "entry level" let's call it "point of entry." This watch is now discontinued, and the price is going through the roof to get one. Future classic, for sure.

I believe your watch was most likely made in the mid 50's. I have two of them. Your's is in wonderful shape. Not sure what you paid but with box I believe it to be between $1400 - $2200. The dents will subtract from value.. Note many were made for Military use by Officers.
