Hello
Hi, I'm uncle Bill and I say you, I never quit 100% 😈✌️💳
Holy carp does this hit home even tho I been sober 22 years
Where did you get that drawing? My mom has the same one.
Love the Stanley brothers so peaceful listening to them
Lindo lindo demais
My friend Joseph was a cocaine addict and weed addict for 3 years. He started in 1978 to 1981 and he never said anything to me and my friends. I saw him a few times acting weird in a church parking lot and he would be walking all weird everywhere. Turns out he was tweaking. I can't believe I'm friends with a drug addict. He went to rehab in 1981 and got clean from smoking and doing coke. He was 25 when he started and 28 when he quit. I was 28 when he started and 31 when he quit. He's lived in escondido all his life and I lived there as a kid but my adult life has been in valley center which is right next to escondido. He would be tweaking in escondido and he would be tweaking in valley center. I guess he would make cocaine in valley center sense it's rural and secluded but back in the late 1970s and early 1980s it was really rural. He would probably right away snort some coke and go tweaking in valley center after he made it. He would make his cocaine in valley center and escondido. I have smoked weed sense I was 22 so sense 1972. Now I'm 72 and Joseph's 69. And he says regrets the day he started tweaking. Myself and himself can't believe he was a tweaker. I love him though. He's my friend and always will be. Share a story about your friend or yourself being a tweaker in the past.
*this is not my account* "My dog" saw someone smoke crystal and then get so freaked out he took a hit of opiates (rig, I guess, this is when I was younger) and then while still tweaking too hard to think he was gonna live, he tried to jump out of a window nearby. The H hit his brain right as he went to run to the window, and he fucking hit his head on the bottom of the window and just lay there. He was fine later, but *JESUS CHRIST* stay away from speed and H. Especially H. Even if you don't do the shit, stay away from it. It tends to have a pull on some
@@jamesbishop1455 yeah fuck speed and all that shit.
Yep quit smoking or quit breathing
One of my favorite gospel songs. I'll be singing this song for our Easter service this coming Sunday. I do the song in the key of F, the same key as the Stanley Brothers. I figured out some great notes as an introduction to the song. I use the lower strings on my martin guitar instead of the higher strings like the Stanley's do. Apart from that, the notes I play are the same ones they use. The song is a great song and has a true message.
quit meth after ten years but tell you what cigarettes i can't seem to quit the habit
Seems to be what I hear from a lot of addicts. Nicotine is a terrible addiction. Can’t quit it myself
Beautiful singing thank you Jesus for what you did
Very professional singing. U can tell all these guys have lots of bluegrass singing experience... and their voices are perfect for bluegrass singing.
Whether or not you have been a drug addict, this one makes you feel good. We all have gone down a dark road of some kind... thinking we were better off dead, or not worthy of being loved... or had some kind of addiction. Maybe not cocaine... maybe it's gambling, maybe we smoke cigarettes... or maybe we just don't have our priorities right... maybe work comes before family.... maybe we don't tell people we love them...whatever it is, every one of us on this planet has dark moments where we hit bottom and need to snap out of it and hit reset. And if you think that you're perfect and above it, that's just denial. Good for Uncle Bill! He made it! And to all of you who are struggling tonight, don't give up!
Most drugs are easy t quit. The mot difficult is gin.
Appreciate the realness brother!!!
Try going by the book song by the man in black
@@monerz1for me it's my food addiction (bulimia)
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL SINGING!!! THANK GOD FOR YOU DID FOR All MAN KIND 🙏❤️🛐
never heard this song until tonight. Glad to hear song's from Johnny Cash that I haven't heard yet!
I get this song is supposed to be silly, but I had an Uncle Bill. Uncle Bill won against the dope.
I love this song and I think any song that Johnny Cash covered is usually better than the original
Been there as a meth addict..very relatable
Meth is nothing to clean up from... Mentally the cravings suck but that's about it besides being tired and eating like crazy for a week or 2. Try kicking a decade of being on METHADONE... Now that's some serious serious agony!
So beautiful.
I have an uncle Bill who was hooked on heroin and he literally locked himself in the house one day and nobody seen him for about 2 weeks.. then one day he came out looking like a brand new man.. this song is literally the story of his life.. he’s now 80 years old
Heroin is much easier to quit than alcohol, especially gin.

Doin any better brother?
it's funny to think how much johnny hated black people!!! to be called the man in black. but to eachs own...johnny can get away with whatever he wants
Well Abraham Lincoln was a rasict too. Even great men have bad sides. It's all about keeping it away i guess. Cuz why are people gonna blame you for it if you havent been showing it. It's just like what parents says. Sometimes you need to do things you don't like
What? I’ve never heard of this, where’d you hear it from?
@@russianacorns8080 it was a long time ago so I ain't sure but I believe it was my history teacher that told me that
Mr VanHelsing no no, Johnny cash I mean, everyone back then was prejudice for the most part
@@russianacorns8080 right. Well based on your reaction i thought you were suprised about Abraham. You don't expect Abraham to be a rasict
