Original animatronics used PNEUMATIC systems, not hydrolics /nm /lh /gen ? Idk how to use tone indicators, this isnt mesnt to be snarky though
you def used /nm and /gen right, I don't think /lh is necessary since that only really applies for jokesy stuff. Hope this is helpful /gen

Some A1000 animatronics are actually older A1 or A100 animatronics that have been reused from closed or renovated attractions and have had their movement systems completely replaced with A1000 electromagnetic actuators that are easier to maintain and have a wider range of motion.

@@caspenchaos I do know that was the case with a couple of animatronics in the Star Tours DisneyLand queue that were originally A1 animatronics in America Sings but were upgraded to A100 animatronics for Star Tours while having their skins removed and heads modified so they look like droids.
@@Techno-Universal I knew about the geese being turned into droids, but I didn’t think they were classified as A-100 figures after that. The great movie ride (containing the first A-100) opened in 1989, which was after star tours opened in 1987. More movement doesn’t necessarily mean a newer generation, I think.
@@caspenchaos Yeah they were actually probably still A1 figures but may of still been upgraded to A1000 units very recently during the various upgrades and renovations Star Tours has undergone over the last decade.
@@Techno-Universal If an A-1 figure were to be made into an A-1000 figure, you’d need to replace all of the hydraulics with the new electronic systems and probably add more joints to allow more movement to the point where not much of the original animatronic would be left. It probably would make more sense just to build a brand-new animatronic… I don’t even think their systems would be at all compatible.

Ayy, funny fact: The animatronics on "it's a small world" are even active at night, i believe it's because of the Air pressure hydraulics build into them, making it too expensive in Money as well as in time to let Out this Air pressure and pumping them up again before Showtime
