They aren’t supposed to and it was an issue again in 2024 comp when they penalized a bunch of top teams (us included) for going out of order when we had no control of when we were called up for fuel

There are distinct pointer cones and that help with slalom and gates but it just takes practice of doing autocross to learn how to see ahead

Yeah the paint is actually chalk and it gets really slippery when cars run over it

The right preload on the diff works wonders in the slow stuff

Well I had the fastest lap time out of anyone for endurance. I doubt you’ve raced much at all or maybe the cam perspective is confusing you on where the car is but I’m better through the slaloms and tight stuff than pretty much every other car at comp

I don't know. He was really impressive through the slaloms. These cars are often hard to rotate sometimes especially when all the weight is in the rear. This car's setup seems pointy and his throttle use mid slalom was good to keep up speed without plowing off line. I do agree tho lots of lockup while braking, could improve threshold braking slightly. But other than that no wonder they had fastest laptime of endurance. Although from me personally, I would've taken it a bit easier lol through some of the on throttle points especially on the entry to the overtaking zones. Bro was all over the place but hey if your comfortable with that all the more to you.

The car going super slow was NC state they were stuck in 4th gear but decided to putt around at 5 mph anyways

The UCONN PD showed up in two cars at the far end of the parking lot halfway through the test session. They just wanted to watch the car lol

We use a smarty cam that’s connected to an AIM data logger at the back of the car.

Yeah their car was stuck in gear. They wanted to finish I’m assuming but it was rough getting held-up. A meatball flag should’ve been used
